"What happened, Red?"
Red stared at his cousin extraordinaire. Ito at ang kakambal nitong si Troy ang may-ari ng bar na iyon. He felt so bad for what happened. Masakit pa ang anit niya dahil sa paghila ng isang babae na kasama ng babaing gusto niya sanang makasama ng gabing iyon. "I'm sorry," he sincerely apologized to his cousin. He caused a scene at the twin's bar. Hindi siya magtataka kung palalabasin siya ng mga ito. There was no exception to the rules when it comes to business policy. "I thought she's game. Magkatalikod kami, and I felt her rubbing her back on mine," it was an honest explanation.
Huminga ito ng malalim. "Let's get out of here. People are looking at you. Bad for my business."
Napabuntong hininga na lang din siya na naunang maglakad papunta sa open parking ng mga sasakyan sa likod ng building.
"You are sad. I've never seen you like that," puna nito nang nasa labas na sila. They were already at the open parking behind Colored Sport's Bar. Malawak na kalangitan na puno ng bituin at bilog na bilog na buwan ang nasa itaas nila. The contrast of the sky to the shinning cars were quite spectacular.
But he couldn't really appreciate those right now. "I am not sad, just frustrated." Sumandal siya sa gilid ng itim na Jaguar niya at nagsindi ng sigarilyo.

He smirked at the term pa-contest. Parang reality show lang. Napailing na rin siya. "Not good. I spend about a few million dollars for that and until now I haven't gotten a bride yet. I do not have a good result."
"What do you mean not a good result?"
"I couldn't see a prospect to marry."
Bumuntong hininga ito. Para lang siyang makulit na bata para dito. "Ang pili mo kasi, cuz. Parang tingin mo kasi sa babae ay dekorasyon mo lang sa kama."
Tinaasan niya ito ng kilay as if saying: Look who's talking?
"Nagkaka-girlfriend ako, ha!" depensa nito sa sarili. "And I am trying to date women more than once or twice. But you, even Lily said, isinasama mo lang siya sa mga lakad niya but nothing really happens to you and her anymore. And you are not giving her an assurance that you want her again or that you want her to be your girlfriend."
He thought of Lily, nasa Europe ito ngayon, under Jace's surveillance. They were still talking once in a while before she flew to Europe. But once she was there, all communications with any of the guys she knew and dated were cut. He understood that Jace was being territorial.
