Ace x reader

Not requested, but I got inspiration from beesmadeofbeans ( it wouldn't let me @ them for some reason ) 

You had been friends with ASL since you guys were little. You, Sabo, and Ace often went on missions together, and you conveniently, was the best con artist of the bunch. It was surprisingly easy to scam people out of their money. A few fake coughs and dirt in your hair, claiming you were dying of a disease and didn't have enough money for the cure. People were just too gullible. Ace and Sabo were in awe of your talent, and you three worked together very well. When you eventually got introduced to Luffy, you two would often dine and dash right after completing a mission.  You and Ace eventually gained feelings for each other, and started 'dating' although you two didn't call it that. You called him firefly, because he was the one that lit up your world, he called you angel, for nothing you did seemed wrong in his eyes. Both of you spent every moment together.

Of course, that all changed when Sabo died. Ace, you, and Luffy were devastated. When Ace left, that hole in your heart was opened up further, and when Luffy did the same, it nearly broke you.  So, you decided to take your own boat and explore the world. The wonders of the sea were amazing, so many new creatures and faces. You eventually settle on a small island in the East Blue. You gained a job at the bar, but still pick pocketed people, seeing as being a waitress doesn't pay much. 

Now, today was a normal day, various pirates stopping in now & then. The bar tender, Marlow, told you to go serve these couple of men, right before the bar was closing. The men looked pretty normal, one having a brown Pompadour, the other having short blonde hair.  They just ordered the standard sake, which you delivered over quickly. 

" Here, your drinks sirs."

They both looked up to meet your gaze, smiling. 

" Thank you darling." The brown haired one responded. 

You smiled to yourself. Time to get their wallets. 

" You two look like pirates...care to tell me about your adventures?"

You took  a seat beside the brown haired one. He smirked, putting his arm around your shoulder.

" Let's start with names darling. I'm Thatch, and this is my dear friend Marco."

Marco gave a smile. You gave him one back. Fake.

" I'm ( y/n ), it's nice to meet ya!" You tried your best to sound excited. You weren't going to lie, these men were interesting, but you needed the money. 

" Nice to meet you...hey Thatch, how'd you get that scar?"

Thatch went off on a long story about how he fought off an army of guys and only ended up with that scar ; long enough for you to grab his wallet from his pocket.Honestly, his story wasn't the worst you had heard, it was captivating at times. Marco also seemed invested, perhaps it was a story he hadn't heard before. 

Tucking Thatch's wallet under your belt, you walked away. The men left, and you bid Marlow goodnight, heading back to your house. 

The men however, when walking  back to the moby dick, stopped. Thatch patted at his pockets, and stared at Marco, chuckling slightly. 

" That Vixen stole my wallet." ( I know that vixen is normally a female term, but I'm using it for all genders. )

The two went back to the ship, informed the others of it, and planned to head back to the bar the next day to get the wallet back, nothing violent, but a little intimidation never hurt anyone. Among this crew of people heading to the bar, was Ace.
