𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘯 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺, 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘥𝘶𝘮𝘣, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘴 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘣𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴.

I wasn't sure on what to feel. But right now, I felt quite mad. This whole time, I thought he was dead. Does this mean Shikamaru let him go? Or Sasuke somehow managed to leave? He raised his hand out, which I refused. I got up onto my feet, looking around and realizing we were in the middle of a forest. "I..I'm sorry for.." I can tell he didn't know what to say. I look over at him, meeting eyes with the same cold and empty ones. "Why..?" He looked confused as I asked that. "Why..what?" I scoff. "Why have you been away for 2 whole years?!" He flinched in fright from my sudden shout.

"And you haven't called me once!" I waited a minute for my answer, then he finally spoke. "I knew that if I called you, the police would somehow manage to track where I'm calling..and I've been absent for 2 years because I wanted them to forget I even existed..so I decided to cage myself in an old apartment in the city" I listened to his whole explanation. "Hm.." We stood there in silence, then heard a shout from behind. "Oi! Naruto?!" I hear my friend Kiba shout from afar. "Who's that..?" I heard him mutter.

"The dog boy..Kiba" I heard a quiet scoff. "Are you two...?" I wince as I knew what he was talking about. "No. You already know for a fact that we're.." I pause, thinking about what I said. "Eh..right" I turn to see if Kiba was rather close, or still searching from afar. "Naruto! Where in the...?" I spot a glimpse of Sakura's pink hair behind a tree. "Hide!" I glance to see Sasuke staring up at the sky. "Hn?" I sprint over to him, tackling him down into the bushes. "Gah!" Sakura screams from the ruffling bush noises. "K-Kiba! Why don't you just call him?! This forest is giving me the creeps" She sprinted away.

"Phew.." I sat right beside Sasuke with my arms still around him, not even realizing what I was doing. "...I missed you, Naruto.." My face began to heat up from his sudden words. I quickly unwrapped my arms, looking straight at him. "W-What did you just say?" He let out a sigh, looking away, I can already tell he was embarrassed from what he just said. "Nothing..I said nothing" He got up, raising his hand out. He lifted me up off the ground, then onto my feet. "Well, I missed you too" I cross my arms with a hint of blush on my face. We stared at each other for about 2 minutes, not that I was counting. But after the realization, we looked away. "Tsk, loser.." I noticed the quick smirk on his face.

Then out of nowhere was a loud ringing noise coming from my pocket. I took out my phone to see Kiba calling me. I quickly answer, only to hear: "Naruto! Where In the hell are you? You suddenly just disappeared" I ruffle up the back of my hair with a small laugh. "I'm fine, I just had to go..pee?" To be honest, that was the most baddest excuse I've ever said, but it somehow managed to work. "Ohh. You got us worried, well, me and Sakura are heading home, will you be safe?" I side eye Sasuke who seemed to be talking to himself with a glare on his face. "Uhh..yeah" I nod even though it was unnecessary.

"Cool! See you tomorrow!" We both said our goodbyes, then hung up afterwards. "Phew..what're you mumbling about?" His eyes were for some reason looking down at the floor, as if he was too shy to ask something. "Are we still..a thing?" He asked out of the blue. "Um..I.."
