20 minutes before the incident...

Naruto runs to the park, while Shikamaru walks off.

'Sorry Naruto, but I'm still suspicious of you..." He looks up at Naruto's apartment.

He walks up the stairs, then looks at Naruto's apartment door.

He turns the door knob.

'Naruto...?' Sasuke looks at the door, then realised it was someone else.

'Naruto turns the knob the other way, this is a total different person...' Sasuke quietly sprints in the bathroom, then slowly closes the door.

Shikamaru walked in, then looks around.

'Someone's being making Onigiri...' Shikamaru looks at the table.

Seen Rice and Seaweed [not sure]

He looks around.

"The kettle is still boiling...' Shikamaru heard.

"Is anyone home?" Shikamaru shouts.

Sasuke flinched.

'Of all people...why him...?' Sasuke thought.

Sasuke looks under the bathroom bench, seen a knife Sasuke hid just in case.

He grabs the knife, then turned around. He slowly opens the door, then saw Shikamaru searching the room.

He slowly walks behind him, then raises the knife, Shikamaru quickly turns then grabs his arm.

"Tsk, your a shit steerer..." Sasuke smirked.

"You shouldn't be the one talking..." The two slammed one another against the cupboards, causing the plates to fall on the floor.

"Just die already" Sasuke grabs the knife by both hands.

Shikamaru grabs a pan, then hits him on the head. Sasuke gritted his teeth, then let's go of the knife. The knife left a scar on Shikamaru's face. Sasuke kicked Shikamaru right in the...

"Ag-" Shikamaru stringed his eyes closed.

"Damn" Shikamaru quickly grabs the kettle.

"Don't even..." Sasuke glared.

He opens the kettle.

Sasuke looked around in the corner of his eyes. He saw Naruto's blanket.

'Damn, and I was going to sleep in that for tonight...' Sasuke grabs the blanket off the floor, then throws it at Shikamaru, causing a distraction.

Shikamaru throws the kettle in a random direction, it hits Sasuke's stomach.

Sasuke tripped then Shikamaru threw it away.

"Oi, I was going to sleep in that..." Sasuke quickly got up.

Sasuke grabs the chair, then threw it. Shikamaru dodged it, then realised Sasuke ran out.

"Dammit!" Shikamaru runs out, while the force of the wind slowly closed Naruto's door.

Present time...

'This isn't much blood...' Naruto poked it.

'This is the amount of blood you get from a scar...' Naruto washed his hands.

He lets out a sigh.

'Wait a minute...' Naruto thought.

Naruto looked around.

'Sasuke isn't here...and there's blood from a scar...did he fight with someone...?' Naruto runs out.

"Sasu-"

Naruto realised if he shouts his name, his neighbours will be panicking.

"Dammit..." Naruto runs then jumped off the balcony.

He looks around, then runs through the stalls.

'Everyone seems totally normal, so of course they didn't run here...' Naruto turned in different directions.

"Naruto..." Naruto flinched then turned.

'What was...that just now?' Naruto stared in the distance.

He turned facing where he heard the voice, then runs towards it.

'It was Sasuke's voice...' Naruto thought then saw Shikamaru.

"You three got that direction, all the others tell everybody to evacuate back to their houses, and make sure they're guarded" They all nod, then run.

"Shikamaru..." Naruto whispers.

Shikamaru turned.

"Why was Sasuke in your house, Naruto?" Shikamaru glared.

"You could've reported, but you decide to put peoples lives in danger" Shikamaru loaded the gun.

"But, he wouldn't kill innocent people!" Naruto tried to talk to him face to face, but Shikamaru would avoid eye contact.

"Well, sorry, but he's still a criminal, the hokage, told us to take him, even if it means killing him..." Naruto flinched.

"W-What?" Naruto asked as he spaced out.

"But, you can't do that!" Naruto shouts as he grabs his arm.

"Why can't I?" He asked.

"Because..." Naruto began to tear up.

"Because I love him! If your dad was a criminal, would you kill him?!" Naruto shouts as the tears dropped on the floor.

Shikamaru stared at him.

"No...but Sasuke-"

"Who cares if he's a criminal, just stop the mission!" Naruto begged.

Shikamaru looked down at him.

Shikamaru didn't want to kill Sasuke, but he also didn't want to cause danger to others.

Shikamaru walked off.

"If only it were my choice..."
