Ch. 4 You are my Prince Charming!

The drive to the Kents' home has been awkward for the couple but fun for the children. Jonathan and Martha began to wonder how they would adopt the mysterious young boy they decided to name Clark Kent without alerting the government, which has them sending scientists in their direction. Meanwhile, Sophie held the Lillies that she initially held before they crashed, and she is now showing them off to her new friend.

" These pwetty flawers are Lillies," Sophie happily explained to Clark.

Clark curiously stared at the Lillies in Sophie's grasp.

" Do you want to hold them?" Sophie asks while holding the Lillies to Clark.

Clark hummed a response while looking away to stare at Sophie's bright blue eyes. He gently points his finger to his chest while staring at his new friend with a concerned gaze since he wanted to make sure it was okay to hold her beautiful Lillies.

" Is-Is that okay?" Clark softly asked, looking and sounding concerned.

Sophie brightly smiled at Clark.

Seeing Sophie smiling made Clark feel relieved since he knew that his new friend was okay with him holding her Lillies.

" Here," Sophie puts the Lillies in Clark's hands, and she gently wraps his hands around the stem.

Clark silently stares at Sophie, and he then looks at the Lillies in his grasp. He immediately noticed that the flowers were gorgeous but delicate when he held them.

Clark glanced back at Sophie, and he saw that the sunlight was shining upon her, and he saw that her red hair had an orange hue to it. He put the Lillies in his right hand and began to lean to the left. His left hand then grasped a handful of his new friend's wavy red hair.

Sophie's green eyes blinked when she felt her wavy red hair getting held. She glanced at Clark, and she noticed that he was staring at her with a curious gaze.

Martha turned her head back, and she softly smiled when she saw Clark holding the Lillies in one hand while holding some of Sophie's hair in the other.

" Pwetty," Clark whispered while staring at his new friend in the eyes.

Sophie didn't know what to say to Clark, but she responded to the compliment with a kind smile.

Jonathan raised an eyebrow while looking at Clark from the rearview mirror.

" It's so cute that Clark has gotten attached to Sophie," Martha whispered while fondly smiling at the children.

" That's because Sophie is the first person Clark met when stepping out of that strange pod," Jonathan confessed while looking back at the road.

" Besides us teaching Clark how to blend in as a human, I know Sophie would be a wonderful asset in helping him become even more human," Martha happily tells her husband.

Jonathan nods his head in response.

An hour and thirty minutes later, the couple and two children finally arrived at their destination. The Kent's home is a yellow two-story wooden house with a lovely porch in the front entrance. Vegetation and flowers surround the beautiful home. And near the house is a red barn with some animals roaming about, such as cows, pigs, chickens, sheep, etc.
