The afternoon sunlight streamed through the large bay window, casting a warm, golden glow across the room.

The light played upon the woman's delicate features, highlighting her soft, caramel-colored skin and the gentle curve of her cheekbones. Her brown hair was pulled back into a loose ponytail, a few stray strands falling across her forehead as she moved. Her eyes, a deep, thoughtful brown, were focused intently on the task at hand, reflecting both her concentration and the sun's brilliance.

Tara Vibhuti wore a simple, comfortable outfit-a faded yellow T-shirt and worn pyjamas-that allowed her to move freely as she worked. The sunlight also illuminated the tiny particles of dust dancing in the air, creating an almost magical atmosphere as she brushed the dusting cloth over the shelves.

Tara had woken up early morning only to receive a text from her elder sister to tidy up the house before she comes back home. Poor soul had to drag her feet, reluctantly for the never-ending chore that bore no tangible reward.

Why bother when, in a couple of minutes, things were going to be a mess again?

Shaking her head, she ran her fingers lightly above the photo frames, lingering on the edges of the glass. The photographs inside were filled with memories from Heer and Darshan's wedding, each capturing a moment of joy, love, and celebration.

In the first frame, Heer was dressed in a stunning red and gold lehenga, her face glowing with happiness as she looked up at Darshan. His eyes, filled with love, were locked onto hers, and his smile was wide and genuine. In the background stood both the families and college friends, showering the couple their love and blessings.

Tara smiled as she remembered the poignant moment of Heer's vidai. It was a day etched deeply in her memory, a mix of joy and sorrow that she could never forget. In an attempt to lighten the mood and bring a smile to her sister's face, she had decided to recreate a scene from their favorite movie, 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.'

Mustering a teary smile, Tara had mimicked the iconic dialogue with exaggerated drama, "Tussi jaa rhe ho, tussi na jao."

Heer had chuckled, her eyes twinkling with affection and gratitude. "I promise, I won't ever leave you Tara."

Tara's eyes moved to the other frame on the shelf. It was a photo of her and Heer standing in the balcony of their house, both smiling widely. Darshan was photobombing from behind, making a goofy face. The memory made Tara scrunch her nose in annoyance.

She sighed deeply and muttered to herself, "I wish uss din 'na jao' ki jagah, 'dafa ho jao' bol diya hota."

In just two months after her wedding, her elder sister had asked Tara to move to their apartment in Delhi to complete her MBA. Heer had been adamant that a PG would be overwhelming and not conducive to her younger sister's studies.
