Hope and I finished packing my room and putting boxes into a moving van. Today was the day I got to move to my apartment! I gave Hope a huge hug and wished her well as she was getting ready to go off to college. "I'll come and visit you as soon as possible!" She yelled as I hopped into my car.
I grabbed my phone and opened Spotify the frost recommended album was called "Your City Gave Me Asthma" which only had 3 slings in it at the moment, Jubilee Line, Since I Saw Vienna, and Saline Solution. I just clicked on it as I was looking for new songs to add onto my playlist. The first song came on as I pulled out of my driveway and started my journey to my new life.
The car ride was peaceful it was a two hour drive so it wasn't that bad. I had the album on loop. I stoped around an hour in at a Pizza Hut to grab a quick slice of pizza before continuing on my journey.

"Since I saw Vienna" had just stopped playing as an electronic voice said that my destination was to my right. As I got out I took my pack back out and headed to the front desk. There I got my keys and the front desk lady said my stuff had already been dropped off at my apartment. I walked to the elevator and hit the '3' button. My apartment was on the top floor and the view was the ocean on one side and the office building in the other. I walked down the long hall to the very last door, my door. The keys jingled as I struggled to open the door but after a minute or two of fighting with the lock the door opened to my new home.
The walls where an off white with some basic furniture. The movers had put my stuff in the living room, but I'd deal with that later. For now I was going to get dressed quickly and bring my computer to my new office.
I changed into a simple jeans and a yellow hoddie and put my h/c hair into a low ponytail. I shuffled through all my stuff till I found the bag that contained my office supplies. I grabbed it and started my way to the office building just across from the apartment building.

I unlocked the door to the office. It had one window that was pretty big and looked right at my apartment. If you turned a bit you could see the ocean's shore. I got to work immediately setting up my pc and the rest of the office. I sat down in the chair as I took in my new office it was now fully decorated and the pc was running. I started to boot up the pc when I heard yelling coming from the room next to mine. It sounded like the man was yelling about a gremlin child or something stealing his diamonds. I'm not really sure. I just pulled up some music and put my head phones in.
After a bit the yelling next door seemed to stop. I relaxed and kept working. Jubilee Line started playing after a few minutes and I started to sing along to it. After a while I decided I should head back to my apartment, but before I'd go I wanted to say hi to my new office neighbor. I switched off the lights and locked the door of my room heading to the door next to mine.
I knocked twice and waited a moment before a man with brown curly hair and glasses opened the door. He seemed familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it. "Hey! I'm your new Office neighbor! My names-" I was cut off by the man before I could finish. "Y/n?!" I guess I looked confused because the man then tried to explain. "Oh- Um.. hi! Im Wilbur, your y/n right? I meet you on the Jubilee Line almost two years ago remember?" He asked with a grin. Then it hit me. He was familiar because this was the Wilbur I meet on a train and forgot to ask for his number! I was wrong! The man I thought I would never meet again after our lovely conversations, was right in front of me! I hugged him.
"I knew I had seen you before!" He smiled and nodded. His smiles always seemed to be warm and welcoming. "Well I need to go and fix up my apartment since I just moved here, but it was lovely to see you again I missed you." I smiled. "It was lovely to see you again, I missed you too! But before you go, here's my number this time." He waved as I took the paper and started to walk away.
The more I thought about it the more I realized Wilbur sounded just like the man who sang Your City Gave Me Asthma. I pulled out my phone and looked at the artist, his name was Wilbur Soot. I'd have to ask Wilbur tomorrow. I sighed of happiness as I had found a friend I lost as I walked back home in the sunset.
