Chapter 13 - Show her your best version

Just after finishing the last practice before their comeback, Liv waited for the dancers to leave to be alone with the members of her group. "Guys, I am very grateful for all the time that I worked with you, but I'll return to the United States shortly. I looked for my replacement, he's an excellent choreographer and..."

"We're not losing a choreographer, Liv." The leader said. "We've never seen you as our choreographer, from day one you've been like a sister to all of us."

"You've worried because we eat well, for our health, you encourage us when we can't take it anymore. You gave us the courage and strength to continue as a group." Said the youngest of the members.

"We know that you're not well, we even know that you have not eaten well, and that you did this last choreography just for us. Liv, we saw you cry while you practiced by yourself. We don't know exactly what's happening, but we know enough to understand that you're not well. We don't want you to quit, and not because we lose our choreographer, but because you are part of our group." The main dancer said approaching her and seeing that her eyes were full of tears. "Don't leave the group, we'll find a way for you to stay with us."

"Guys, I have to leave Korea and I don't know when I'll come back. I don't even know if I'll come back."

"You can send us the videos with the practices, you could come from time to time to visit us and supervise a little." Said the leader. "We don't need or want another choreographer, much less another member."

"If you want to stop dancing, then you can continue with us as a producer." Said the main dancer and Liv couldn't believe they were being serious. 

That night, all the boys showed her how much they needed her in their group, they really saw her as a sister. They ended up convincing her and Liv promised that she would continue dancing for them.

Returning to the United States was one of the hardest things for Olivia to do since, once more, she was forced to start from zero, and this time there was no motivation at all. It took her weeks to put in order her life a bit, find a place to live and a studio to work. As soon as it was known that Liv had returned, her teachers and former bosses contacted her as soon as possible to lead a new dance group at the same time that she continue working with her group.

The same depression led Liv to not stop for a second. From early on she worked with the different groups she had, and as night fell, the girl saw her old friends or continued working. She tried not to be in her apartment because when she did that, I.M's absence was much more than she could face. She couldn't think of her rapper for more than a few seconds when the emptiness she felt in her chest made her feel even sick. Moreover, she needed to fix her family situation, her lawyer had told her that he would deal with them, but the emotional damage was too much to handle.

Three months had passed and Liv's things were still in boxes, she had not bought decorations, and she didn't cook either. Liv definitely didn't see that apartment as her home, she didn't like it. She didn't want to start over building a home for herself, she felt tired from always running, from losing what she was trying to build, so she didn't see any point in unpacking, after all, she kept thinking that something bad would happen late or sooner and she would have to go again.

For his part, during those first months, I.M begged Kihyun to give him Liv's number or to at least let him write to her, but he never accepted. Kihyun and even Jooheon thought that I.M would get over it and that he would look better, but that wasn't happening. Changkyun had refused to return to live with the others, he was still in the apartment he shared with Liv and every night he waited for her to come. When I.M had activities, all the way home he thought that he would open the door and see his girl there again, but he only found the apartment empty.
