Warriors: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘰𝘢𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘻𝘢𝘳𝘥 (Book 3)

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞. (𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏)

Emerald'gaze woke up to the yellow beaming sun blinding his eyes. He looks to see a bunch of cats waiting for the leader. A gray spotted she-cat approached at him. She is the deputy and goes by the name of Pond'jump. "Emerald'gaze, get up. It's time for the ceremony." She said, Emerald'gaze rubbed his eyes and walked off with the deputy. The cave looked very differently now. After the spirits gave Dust'star a chance, the cave reformed as if it was just foundfor  the first time. He sat down with a bunch of cats, Pond'jump walked up to the rock waiting for the leader to start.

"All cats old enough to swim through the waterfalls gather beneath the moss rock for a meeting." Lapis'Star said, the others gathered up, Emerald'gaze followed Pond'jump. Lapis'Star sat down, she gave Pond'jump, a nod. Pond'jump stood up at the rock and Lapis'Star watched. "Me, Lapis'Star, and the Clan'walkers have decided who will be the new member of the Light'walkers." She said, everyone scooted forward, they were glued at the deputy. 

"Emerald'gaze will be the new member of the Light'walkers, congratulations!" She said, everyone starts to turn eyes at Emerald'gaze. They start cheering for him, the Light'walkers gathered at the front. Emerald'gaze awkwardly walk up as he heard the chanting of his name.

"𝙀𝙈𝙀𝙍𝘼𝙇𝘿'𝙂𝘼𝙕𝙀! 𝙀𝙈𝙀𝙍𝘼𝙇𝘿'𝙂𝘼𝙕𝙀!"

One of the cats from the Light'walkers seemed a bit unhappy. Wave'flow, a skinny greyish blue tom turned around at the deputy. "Sorry Pond'jump, but I must protest, this lazy tom put Dust'Star's kits in danger, he'd might put US in danger! He's mouse'brained and weak! I suggest you move him to the rogues; it'll be much better."

Pond'jump glared at the angered tom. "You didn't even finish last patrol because your clan mates told you ditched them, you're very lucky I'm not in the mood to demote you." She said in a loud determined voice, Wave'flow didn't want to cause a scene, so he'd shut his snout and glared at Emerald'gaze. Hail'cloud, a small fluffy white she with faded white to gray brindle markings walk up to Emerald'gaze.

"Welcome!" She purred, Frozen'breath, a white skinny tom just sat there looking at Emerald'gaze. Pond'jump smiled. "Meeting dismissed." She said, Lake'fur gave a good luck look at Emerald'gaze. The others went back to their normal duties. Pond'jump walk over towards Emerald'gaze while the others sat and watch them. "Now Emerald'gaze, if Wave'flow does anything to you, you go to the Clan'walkers, Lapis'Star, or me." She said, Emerald'gaze nodded. He then walks with the others for afternoon patrol.

Hail'cloud blinked, she seen everyone looking all grumpy. "So... does anyone want to greet to the newcomer?" She asked, Wave'flow didn't even bother talking to Emerald'gaze, and Frozen'breath was mute, so Hail'cloud sighed in annoynace and start greeting herself. "My name is Hail'cloud, nice to meet you!"

"Uhm..hi..?" Emerald'gaze gave an awkward grin, Hail'cloud look at Wave'flow. "Are YOU gonna introduce your grumpy fluff ball?" She said, Wave'flow start to walk faster, he was mumbling in his breath. 

"𝙄𝙛 𝙎𝙖𝙞𝙠𝙤 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙩'𝙡𝙡 𝙙𝙤 𝙢𝙚 𝙖 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙝𝙞𝙢 𝙩𝙤 𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙡."

Hail'cloud overheard and step on Wave'flow's tail, he screeched. Emerald'gaze held his laughter, Hail'cloud looked at Emerald'gaze, she then kept stepping on Wave'flow's tail. "WILL YOU STOP THAT!?" He turn around at Wave'flow and snapped at her. "Why don't you stop being such a grump all the time?"

Emerald'gaze start to burst out laughing, Wave'flow looked at the tom. "Laugh again and you'll sleep one eye open tonight." He then walk away with Frozen'breath, Emerald'gaze blinked. "Don't worry, he's just saying that to scare you." She said, she then walk with the others. Emerald'gaze sighed and continue on with the patrol.

𝐅𝐞𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫.

A bunch of apprentices come back with a she cat. Milk'paw, One'paw, Night'paw, and Oleander'paw. Even their friends, Dusk'paw(Seven), and his little brother Silver'paw(Nome) Ferret'hop watched them go into the WaterClan cave. She then get bumped by Wave'flow. "Move out of the way will ya?" Wave'flow said, little does he know the she was now part of a ruling group of cats called 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡. Also known to hold gatherings, executions, and guardianship, trained from StarClan. "Um excuse me?" She said, Wave'flow turned around at her. "I said, move out of the wa-"

 Ferret'hop tackled him without hesitation, she wasn't the same after Mint'breath died.

"𝘓𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘵, 𝘐 𝘥𝘰 𝘕𝘖𝘛 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴. 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢 𝘴𝘰𝘧𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘱𝘶𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘢 𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦'𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘔𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘭 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘦𝘹𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘵  𝘔𝘰𝘺𝘢 𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘮𝘦?"

Wave'flow gulped at the she-cat, Ferret'hop let go of him as Wave'flow walk away silently. Frozen'breath went in next. Ferret'hop saw Emerald'gaze laughing with Hail'cloud. Hail'cloud stopped and look at the she. "Oh! Ferret'hop, my friend. I'll see you later Hail'cloud." He said, Hail'cloud just went in the cave.  

"So... how did the apprentices act today?" He asked.

"They did good, they learned about water manipulation, and leadership. Also, congrats on your promotion as a Light'walker!" She said. "Oh...thanks...my first day didn't go well anyways." Emerald'gaze replied. "Don't worry, just know tomorrow's gonna be a better day."

"Aww thanks..." Emerald'gaze grinned, they both look at the sky. "Gonna go and head back to Moya mountain. Night." Ferret'hop then run off, Emerald'gaze walk down to the WaterClan cave, Hail'cloud run off to the Light'walkers den. Emerald'gaze saw the apprentices playing with Dusk'paw and Silver'paw, also known as Seven and Nome.

Oleander'paw saw Emerald'gaze and proceeded to run on the water. "How's your patrol?" He asked, Emerald'gaze sat down. "Kinda disappointing actually." He said, Milk'paw tackled One'paw making splash all over. "HEY! KNOCK IT OFF!" One'paw hissed at Milk'paw. Milk'paw rolled his eyes and begin splashing him some more. Dusk'paw pushed them away. "Let's not get another broken leg, Milk'paw." Oleander'paw got out of the water and sat beside Emerald'gaze. "What happend?" He asked. "Well this cat is bullying me for whatever reason, death threatened me, called me names, but atleast I made a new friend."

"Oh nice!" Oleander'paw said, the apprentices then heard one of the Caregivers calling out for curfew for the kits and apprentices. "Guess I'll see you later." Oleander'paw and the others walk back into the cave. Emerald'gaze look at the reflection, his reflection slowly turned into Dust'Star, Deer'step, and his parents. But what really got him was a reflection of a gray cat he knew.

Drops of tears fell dripping on the water, he wiped the tears with his paw and padded back in the cave after a long day, he hoped that tomorrow would go a little better.
