Monday morning. Unarguably the worst part of the worst day of the week.

All I had seen, in the back of my mind, was blue eyes and a cocky smile, since the Saturday night ball.

My phone rang suddenly, forcing me out of my subconscious.

"What are you wearing today?" My best friend's voice came through the speaker, and I ran a hand through my recently slept in hair, shrugging a little.

"I don't know. Why?"

"We have an away game today, or did you forget?"

"We have a what?"

Stacey's laugh followed suit, and I knew she was checking herself out in the mirror right now, deciding which fancy outfit she would choose.

"You care to tell me why you skipped out on practice yesterday, though?"

"I had to watch Lyssa last minute. Sorry," I muttered, pulling my closet doors open.

"If you didn't like lacrosse so damn much, maybe you would've brought your sister to practice and stuck her on the bleachers." Stacey liked soccer a whole hell of a lot more than lacrosse. Personally, I liked the one I was better at. If I was her, I'd like soccer better too. Not everyone was a star sweeper like her.

"Seriously, Stace, what're you wearing?"

"Hang on, Ri is calling. I'm gonna add her." Stacey's words were quickly followed by the tone of a new user joining the call.

"What are you guys wearing?" Our third captain joined in, and I couldn't help a slight snicker.

"Cassy didn't even know we had a game today-" Stacey started, and she was cut off by Rhia instantly.

"Of course not, she didn't show up to practice yesterday."

If we were talking in person, Stacey and Rhia would've high fived right then. Instead, they just agreed with each other, then quickly steered the conversation back to clothes.

"I think I'm gonna go for a dress today," Rhia finally made a decision.

"The white one or the navy one?" I beat Stacey to asking the question.
