After the night of meeting Joe, we were hooked to each other. We spent hours and hours together; days upon days. When we finally decided to start dating, nothing felt better than calling him my boyfriend. The feeling he gave me every single time we locked eyes was like a jolt of electricity shocking my body. Right from the beginning, our relationship was intense with passion and curiosity, along with familiarity all at the same time. It's what I loved about Joe; he felt like home.

It only took Selena one and a half months to move in with Nick, and three months for Joe to move in with me. I had to admit, we were moving quickly but it just felt so right, and Joe was so perfect.

"Baby, I'm going out for groceries," Joe called from the kitchen. I looked up from the TV and turned in his direction. "There's no more chocolate ice cream."

From my angle, it looked as if Joe had stuck his head into the freezer and I couldn't help but hold back my laughter. He turned to me frowning, clearly upset about the absence in frozen dairy.

"Do you want me to come with you?" I giggled.

He smirked at me, eyeing my Hello Kitty pajamas. "I think you should just relax there, I've got this."

"If you say so!" I sang, turning back to flipping through the channels.

"I'll be back soon," he said, before shutting the door behind him.

After only coming across lame reality TV shows and commercials, I decided to take a nap. Joe had been gone for almost an hour already and I figured he would wake me when we came home. Just as I got comfy on the couch, the phone rang.

"You have got to be kidding me," I groaned aloud.

I slowly got up and reached for the phone. Selena's name was glowing on the display.

"I was just about to take a nap," I snapped into the phone before Sel had a chance to say anything.

"You are not going to be this grumpy when your boyfriend comes back home!" Sel nearly squeaked back.

"What are you talking about?" I yawned, crawling back on the couch in my previous comfy position.

"So, I'm just out shopping with Beverly at the Hallen Mall when all of a sudden Bev's all like, 'Is that Joe Jonas? Your boyfriend's brother?' and then I turn my head and see the back of a guy that looks like Joe looks from behind--"

"Excuse me?" I muttered."

"I wasn't checking him out, relax. As I was saying, I see this guy that seriously looks like Joe and I'm all like, 'Yeah, I think so.' and then Bev's like, 'Why's he in Mark's Marvellous Jewellers?' And then i'm like, "Oh my God, he is--'"

"How did you even know that Joe wasn't home?" I interrupted Sel's fast paced rambling.

"Are you listening to me at all!?" Sel replied annoyed, "The guy turned around and it was Joe! He was looking at rings. To be more specific, it looked more like he was deciding between two different ones."

It felt like my heart stopped. "Sel, we haven't been dating for that long! A ring? What!?"

"I know!" She squealed. "I had to tell you! You have to act totally surprised when he asks you still, do not let him know you know."

"Did he see you two?!" I asked nervously, feeling butterflies dancing in my stomach. "Because if he did, he would definitely suspect you to ruin everything!"

Sel laughed. "No I swear he didn't! Can you believe this? Congrats Demi!" She hung up the phone.

I sat up, still staring at the phone. I felt a smile creep onto my face as the news sank in deeper and deeper into my brain.

Holy shit, I'm getting engaged.
