Chapter 9

Caira's POV:

I open my door hearing footsteps and see a tall guy he has blond hair and blue eyes. "Hey" I whisper to him. He turns around and looks at me up and down and smiles. "Hey" He says. "I'm bored is there a library in this house" I say. "Your bored and your going to read?" He says. "Uh don't look at me like that I like to read for fun some books are more Interesting" I say.

"Uh yea there is a library want me to show where it is" He reply's. "Yes please" I say and close the door and start following him. He takes me upstairs and as soon as we get upstairs he opens two doors. "The library miss" he says with smile and I roll my eyes. "Thank you" I say and kiss him on the cheeks.

He leaves and closes the door. The library is so big it has so many different books. I look around. I find a book and I sit down on the floor and start reading.

What feels like minutes was actually hours and I look at the clock that was on the wall. Oh shit I can't read the time in those clocks. But then I see a clock I CAN read it's six minutes past midnight. Its my birthday yeah. I then feel upset I mean I'm turning 19 and my mom isn't here or Mia or Spencer (Spencer is my only cousin he visits us so many times he practically lives there).

I start cry and I put my knees up to my chest and cry. I fucking want to leave this place. I just want to go home. I usually don't fucking cry like his I need to pull myself together.

I get up and place the book on the shelf and head to the kitchen. No one is there. I get the cake out and I find some candles and I light it up and sing happy birthday to me. I then start crying even more. I make my wish and I blow out the candles. I sit on the floor and I won't stop cry.

Pull yourself together.

I can't Im going to sound like a 5 year old but I don't care I just want my mom. I hear footsteps and I try to calm my crying. Then I see Domenico "Ciara" he says I get up and wipe my nose. "What" I say "Don't f-" He was going to say but I stop him. "You know what fuck you I don't even know what I'm doing you might as well kill me i'm so sick of you yell and telling me what to do" I yell at him. I hit him and slap him.

Then I storm upstairs to the room I'm staying in and slam the door close. I go on the bed and lay down. I end up falling asleep.

*Next day*

I wake up and look at the clock on the desk it's 10:34am. I get up and go to the bathroom I get clean and was my face. I go back in the room and get dressed. I put on joggers and a zipped up hoodie. I put my hair in a clip and I go downstairs. I see the cake a cut some.I put it on a plate and grab myself a fork.I start eating when I hear footsteps coming. I roll my eyes "ci-" he was gonna say my name but I get my plate and leave.

I head upstairs and go in the library. I grab the book I was reading and sit down. I continue eating my cake and reading.

It's been hours and I get up. I put the book away and go downstairs. I wash my plate and go to the gym. I enter the gym and no one is there. I take of my hoodie and now I'm in my joggers and my sport bra. I put on some boxing gloves and start punching the punching bag.

I start getting tried of punch the bag and stop. I grab my things and go to the kitchen to drink some water. I start walking upstairs and I see Domenico he starts walk up to me but I quickly go in my room and close the door. I hear the foot steps fade away. I start taking of my clothes and I go in the shower.

I step in and I start to wash my hair. Once I'm finished I rub soap all over my body. I look for a razor and shaving cream lucky I found some and start shave my legs and every where.

I step out and put on my pjs this has to be the most boring birthday I have ever had. I put on my shorts and my top and some socks. I put my gear in a messy bun and I head downstairs so I can make my self something to eat. I make myself a salad and I eat it.

I go back upstairs once I'm done and I go on the phone I stole. I check my snaps and I see Mia has texted me happy birthday I smile and I say thank you. I lay in bed and just think. I text Alex and he text me back straight away.

Ciara:Hi
Alex:Hey
Ciara: I won't be coming in school for awhile I'm sick
Alex:oh ok do you want to go on date next month
Ciara:yea sure

Lets hope I'm out of this hell hold before next month.

Alex: oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Ciara: thank you🤣
Alex: did you enjoy your day
Ciara: could have been better
Alex: are you ok
Ciara: yea I'm good

We talk for some time before he says he has to go. I hide the phone again and turn on the tv and put on a movie. I put on Aladdin and watch.
