"Stop following me around." Elisabeth said about the 20th time.

"No way." Hazel smiled.

It was the end of October, 10 o'clock at night and Elisabeth was heading back to her common room when she came across Hazel, who was coincidentally searching for her.

They arrived in front of the Ravenclaw portrait.

"What came first? The Phoenix or the feather?" The portrait broke into question.

"A circle has no beginning." Elisabeth said proudly.

"Precisely." The portrait swung open  and Elisabeth stepped in, blocking the hole with her hands and legs spearing apart to stop Hazel from entering.

"Try following me in now." She smirked as the portrait closed.

A few seconds after, the portrait opened again and Hazel stepped in with a proud smile.

Elisabeth's face was priceless. "How did you do it? Did you get help?" she glanced behind her, but it was deserted.

"It asked the same question, just different subjects. 'What came first? The egg or the dragon?'" she tried to mimic the portrait.

"Drat."

"Hey Malfoy! Do you want to study together? I'm very behind on Charms." a voice called out to her. "Oh- Isn't she that Slytherin Malfoy?" she added.

Hazel's ears turned pink.

"Oh, Alexis Steward." Elisabeth said.

"If I was Harry Potter or Ginny Weasley I would've been so disappointed- Why is she here anyways?" Alexis scrunched her nose as if she was smelling something disgusting.

"I honestly would be more disappointed if my mother dated other guys without my father knowing. Your mother was Cho Chang right? Didn't she run away with another man already? Whasshisname? Roger Davis?"

It was Alexis turn to turn pink. "Don't you talk like that about my mum!" she burst into tears and ran out of the common room.

"Thanks.. That was harsh but thanks." Hazel widened her eyes with shock.

"I can be harsh if i want to, I'm a Malfoy after-all." she shrugged.

"You can admit if you like me you know. Cause you went through that just to defend me." she blinked quickly.

"I'm straight."

Hazel's face became unreadable. "Oh no, I meant as friends."

Elisabeth opened her mouth and formed an 'O'.

-

Elisabeth and Hazel grabbed each other's hands tightly as they ran across the corridor. They were escaping Filch and Mrs Norris for being up after curfew.

They collapsed on the concrete floor, roaring with laughter after Filch and his cat turned the different corridor.

"Hush! Ahahahha- He can hear us- Hahahahaha!" Hazel helped herself up so she was standing.

"This is your fault." Elisabeth suppressed her laughters. "You could've just returned to your common room by yourself."

"I'm scared okey. I need a friend to escort me."

"I'm still not your friend."

Hazel frowned.

They heard movements from near them. They darted towards the nearest pillar.

"Filch?" Elisabeth said under her breath. "He knows every shortcuts in this castle. Must be him or his filthy cat."

They peeked their heads out of the pillar slowly. The sound was coming from the empty classroom that had not been used since 1944, according to McGonagall. But no one was coming out of it. What was so interesting that they had to stay in the classroom?

Hazel stepped out of the pillar and tiptoed towards the classroom, Elisabeth followed suit.

The wooden door was ajar and the lights were off. Curiouser and curiouser..

She pushed the door with her foot and it swung open, slamming on the wall.

And there they were, standing in the middle of the classroom, in an embrace and kissing passionately, was Fred Ronald Weasley and Whitney Wright.

Hazel's and Elisabeth watched speechlessly as Fred and the Ravenclaw girl continued to eat each other's faces. Had they not heard the door slamming on the wall?

"Ahem.." Hazel cleared her throat.

The couple jumped from surprise and broke the embrace, noticing the uninvited guests and flushing heavily.

"Haz! Malfoy!" Fred hissed.

"Hello." Hazel grinned smugly.

"What are you doing here?" he said.

"We're here for a.. walk." she lied. "What are you two doing here? Have you not learnt the lesson that kissing in empty classrooms doesn't stop people from intruding? My mom and her ex boyfriend was caught snogging each other by my dad and uncle Ron! Or when-"

"I know, I know.. Lower down your voice! You don't want Filch to come dashing here.." Fred whispered.

"Hmph. Who is she?" Hazel raised an eyebrow at the dark haired girl.

"Whitney Wright." Elisabeth introduced her for her. "She's in my house.. Ravenclaw. She's a 7th year I think."

"Oh, you could've told me you had a girlfriend! I told you my crus-"

"Oh you have a crush?" Elisabeth smiled sideways.

"Wrong move, Haz." Fred grinned, then his face darkened. "If you tell anyone about me and Janice, I will tell her-" he pointed at Elisabeth. "-your crush!"

"I promise I will keep quiet!" Hazel did a motion to sew her lips.

-

Fierra let out a soft laugh. "Really?"

Fred flushed the shade of red as Elisabeth nodded.

It was the beginning of November and the atmosphere was starting to become chilly. The leaves on the trees were starting to fall and turn brown. Elisabeth, Fred, Hazel and Fred's younger sister, Fierra had agreed to meet up in the garden to explain to her about Fred's new girlfriend.

"Yeah they were hugging each other so tightly, and I swear I saw Fred's hand go up her Whitney's buttock-" Hazel said.

"Can we not talk about that." Fred growled. "Another word and I'll tell Malfoy your crush, forget Malfoy. I'll tell everyone!"

The Slytherin shut up immediately.

Fierra laughed again. Her voice was like Hermione's. And her wavy brown hair, unlike the red flaming one Fred has falls on her shoulders. And her brown eyes that belongs to Hermione's, freckles spread around her nose and cheeks that belongs to Ron. Ron and Hermione really made a good combo.

"Does this mean we're friends now?" Hazel said hopefully at Elisabeth, with Fierra and Fred throwing insults at each other at the background.

"Fine, I guess we are now." She smiled.
