A/N: have fun reading ! this chapter is all about James and Celeste, and gets a bit spicy at the end!!
It's Valentine's day and the students are either overly excited for their plans for the day or they're dreading it big time. Not very much of the girls in the school got too happy about the holiday whether it be they are single and didn't have a date for the day or they had so much homework, they couldn't participate in the Hogsmeade trip. On the other hand, Celeste is one of those girls who are excited for the trip.
It's been almost three weeks since her first date with James and somehow it has felt like she had waited an eternity for the second. On the inside she was jumping around for joy but on the outside she held a calm and bored demeanor.
It is a weird feeling for her- she never felt this way for anybody before. Sure she got excited to see her friends after the Summer holiday but this was much different. Celeste felt butterflies in her stomach, sort of anxious thinking about what they would do and what would come out of their date. She normally didn't get nervous around James and now she was cautious about what he'd think about how she looked and dressed.
Celeste wakes at seven to begin getting ready for her date. She takes a quick shower and brushes her teeth. She throws on a white t-shirt and a beige vest overtop, both which are tucked into a pair of high waisted denim jeans.
She moves from the washroom and sits at the vanity to do minimal makeup. Just concealer, blush, mascara and tinted chapstick, she also brushes out her eyebrows. Leanna takes it upon herself to fix Celeste's hair for her. She straightens the blonde's hair and puts two small braids on either side of her head.
Celeste slips on a pair of boots, and grabs her coat and her purse, the two girls now exiting the common room to meet their friends.
"Are you excited for your date with James? I'm still upset you're not going dress shopping with me and Lily."
"I am excited and I told yeh already, I have a dress."
"Then why haven't you shown it to me?" Leanna gives her a pointed look before she crosses her arms over her chest and stomps a foot like a toddler.
Celeste purses her lips and rolls her eyes, "it's a surprise."
The two girls peak into the Great Hall and you can practically feel the excitement radiating the students. Everywhere you look there are a few select girls who thought it appropriate to wear red or pink for the holiday.
There are garlands hung from the ceiling. Love hearts of multiple shades of red and pink are adorned around the room. Yarn trees are used on each of the tables as a centerpiece.
The two girls complimented the room as they exit to continue to look for their friends. The school only seemed to decorate for major holidays like Halloween or Christmas. On holidays like today or Easter, the school liked to decorate the Great Hall only for the day.
