"Jade I need you to come here."
"Yes mommy?"
"You're going to have to go somewhere with me, it's very dangerous but I don't want to leave you alone."
"Is it bad people?"
"No but they're not nice to me and friends." I'm referring to the avengers.
"Can I help?"
"No jadie. You have to stay inside while I do stuff okay?"
"Okay."
"Come on! Let's go." We walk down to franks.
"We got to go frank." It was around 4am.
"Of- What the fuck!"
"Language idiot!"
"When did you have a kid?" He's in utter shock.
"She's not mine biologically but she's mine now."
"How'd you find her?"
"Some man was trying to take her. Had to fight him off. But she has to come on the mission."
"Why?"
"Because I don't have someone to watch her and I am not leaving her with you all."
"What's wrong with us?" I give him a look.
"Right let's just go."
We aboard the plane for us.
"Mommy who are these people?"
"Friends. That Al and that's Zach." I point at them. Al and Zach see me but take a double look.
"Teresa, when did you have a kid?" Zach says.
"Man was trying to get her and I fought them off. She's not mine biological but now she's mine."
"I've always wanted to become a dad." Al says. Trying to hug and kiss me.
"Yeah, no. We're not dating. We're just friends. Sorry."
"Right. Forgot." He says. Zach starts laughing.
"That's funny."
"Okay, can you two shut up? I'm gonna take her to bed." We have a room for injured. But we sleep in there. I turn off the lights and hear her.
"Mommy?"
"Yes?"
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going to fly the plane. I'm not leaving."
"Okay."
"Just come out if you need me." I tell her.
"Mommy? Can I get a goodnight kiss?" This is all new to me. I give her a kiss on the forehead and leave.
"How's hearing 'mommy, mommy' all the time?" Zach asks, mimicking her voice.
"Zach you better shut your mouth."
"Or what?"
"There's a thing called a voice box that I can rip out."
"Yes ma'am." I continue flying till it's just straight from then on. I see Zach trying to go to sleep. Where jade is.
"Don't go in there."
"Why? I want to sleep."
"Jade is in there."
"And?"
"I don't want you in there with her."
"Don't trust me?"
