Maddison's POV: I wake up and put on my dressing gown to see my roommate and best freind Talia Mar sat on the sofa on her phone. "Morning T." I say walking over to the kitchen and making a coffee for her and me. "Good Morning Maddison." Talia smiles. "I'm so exited for tonight." She adds as she stands up and grabs her coffee. "Same." I smile. "You might even get a boyfriend." She laughs. "Maybe." I laugh back as I take a sip of my coffee.
•Time skip to 2hours before the party•
"Ima get changed." Talia shouts from the other room. "Ok I'm gonna as well." I shout walking into my room. I pick out a cute pink flowery dress and some pastel pink Nike airs. I had tonight and tomorrow of which was good. I lay my dress on my bed and pick out a jacket to go with it. I put on my dress and add the necklace my Grandma gave me before she passed. I remember when I was told the news she passed my heart shattered she was my best freind she was a better mother than what my mum will ever be. I smile at the necklace before grabbing my straighteners and curling my hair. I do some natural make up and grab my bag. I walk into the kitchen. Talia was sat there scrolling through Instagram. She turns around. "Maddison." She gasps. "You look stunning." She adds back standing up and giving me a hug. "Awwh thanks T you look gorgeous." I smile. Talia wore this cute black jumpsuit with black high heels.

•Arriving At The Party• We arrived at the venue and paid the taxi man. The venue was what looked to be a bar apparently according to Talia, Simon had said they rented out the whole venue itself. We walk over to the door give our name and the security guard let's me and Talia in. In the far distance Talia spots Simon stood with someone facing there back towards us. We walk over and they both turn around. Simon greets Talia with a hug. "Hey Talia." He says. "Hey Maddison." He adds. "Hi." I wave which leads the other guy stood next to him to smile at me and walk off. Me,Simon and Talia talk for a while before I decide to go over to the bar and get a drink. On my way to the bar I swore I heard someone say my name I turn around and everyone seems to be carrying on partying. As I turn around I walk into someone. He was a bit taller then me. "Hey I'm so sorry I should have been paying more attention to where." He stops me before I say anything else. The guy turns around and it was the guy who was stood next to Simon earlier. "It's ok don't worry." He says softly his glistening eyes staring into mine. I smile gently. "JJ." He says putting his hand out. "Maddison." I say shaking his hand. "Can I get you anything from the bar." He says. I give a puzzled look. "Umm I'm good thank you." I smile before walking back to the bar. He follows behind me. "Maddison." He says which causes me to turn around. "I'll get you the drink it's on me." He smiles as we sit at the bar. "JJ I've only just met you I can't let you buy me a drink." I explain. "Ok then." He replies back. I order my drink and we talk for a while. We get to know each other a lot more. I turn around to see Talia giving me the thumbs up. I give her a little wave. "I like your necklace." JJ adds. "Really it's it's my Grandmas." I say as a tear runs down my face as dozens of memories flush through my mind. "Sorry." I say wiping my eyes. He gives me a reassuring smile. "It's ok." He adds. "It's just that I never really had a good childhood as much as I love my parents they were awful to me they would mentally and physically abuse me." I say trying to hold back tears. "My grandma I love her so much and she was always there for me and she gave me this necklace and it reminds me of her." I say before breaking into tears. "Hey hey it's ok." JJ says standing up and giving me a hug. I pull away from the hug. "Sorry for crying." I laugh wiping my tears before drinking the last of my drink. "Care to dance." He says putting his hand out. I smile. "Of course." We go onto the dance floor and danced away. As me and Talia were about to leave JJ came running up to me. "Maddison can I give you my number so we can stay in touch." he asks nervously. "Of course you can." I say getting out my phone. I let him type in his number. "Thank you." He smiles before giving me a hug. He waves at Talia and we get into the car. "So Mads." She asks excitedly. I smile. "Well I've got JJ's number." I smile. "Your like him." She smiles before driving back home. "His eyes, Oh my days his eyes there so cute." I add. "His hair as well!" I add. Talia gives a smile.
When we arrive I go into my room. I lie on my bed and text JJ.
M: Hey JJ it's me Maddison :) J: Hey Maddison J: Do you wanna go for coffee tomorrow? M: Sure I can go at any time J: ok 10:30?? M: Ok that will be great <3 J: Cya tomorrow M: Cyaaaa
I lay my phone on my bed and turn on the shower before jumping in. I get out after I'm done and grab some fluffy pink pjs out. I lie in bed before falling asleep. Not realising that that party would change my life.
