-december 7th
-theme: making gingerbread
-ship/characters: anzu + joe
"JOE! COOKIE TIME!" anzu smiled and pulled out a box of gingerbread mix,
"YES! lets go make them!!" he ran over to the kitchen, his parents were out til 6pm and they just got home from school which gives them around 3 hours to fuck around and be idiots.
"okay so it says to pour the mix into a bowl uhh i need a bowl please" she started reading out the instructions on the back of the box,
"here ya go!" joe placed a bowl on the counter and anzu poured the whole mix into it.
"okay we need butter.. it doesn't say how much though erm" she looked around on the box if it had any measurements, "no measurements for anything? um.. i guess put the whole stick in"
she dumped the whole stick of butter in the bowl as joe poured water into the mix.
"it says add golden syrup, do you have any?"
"oh yeah! lemme check." joe looked through the cupboards until he finally found some.
"here!"
"cool thanks! just a drizzle.." she squirted more than a drizzle into the bowl.. "whoops.."
"alrightly MIX TIME!" she got out the electric whisk and started mixing away.
"lemme turn the oven on and get the decoration stuff ready!" joe smiled.
"huh?? i can barely hear you over the whisk!!!"
joe placed the batter onto a tray then popped it into the oven, they had 25 minutes to wait.
"just dance?"
"just dance."
so they used the 25 minutes to play just dance, as they should.
RRRRINGGGG! the alarm nearly gave them both a heart attack,
"JEEZ!! TURN IT OFF TURN IT OFF!" anzu squealed blocking her ears from the extremely noisy alarm.
"ALRIGHT!"
joe got the cookie out and pressed down the gingerbread cookie cutters onto the huge cookie. they had 2 to decorate each,
joe made, a shrek one and a sara one.
anzu made, a clown one and a ranmaru one.
"PERFECT..!" they both smiled at the extremely messy cookies they both created.
authors note: hey, my stories might be short/not as good since im trying to focuse on my tests in school + my mental health in general, i will try my best to release a oneshot everyday though!
