Chapter 6: Miami Vices

A few days after the events of Chapter 5...

Miami International Airport - Miami, Florida USA - 6:30 P.M.

Two important Hope's Peak Academy faculty members were waiting at the airport runway, right outside of the private Hope's Peak jet they used to travel here. This jet was only used on special occasions, in case any of the Ultimate classes were planning on traveling somewhere distant, particularly out of country. Luckily, Ms. Yukizome was kind enough to let the two of them borrow it for this occasion, since it would definitely save the time of having to fly down to America in coach. It's a good thing I'm on a good standing with her. Otherwise, who knows how long I would've had to organize this, Munakata thought.

Kyosuke Munakata was the former Ultimate Student Council President of Class 74. He was often very recognizable for his tall, lean and colorless appearance. His hair was silver, his eyes were a very pale blue, and almost always showed a cold or calm expression on his face. He wore a black suit with a white undershirt, and a faded yellow necktie. To many people, he was very stern and strong-willed, and often took his work and his position as seriously as possible. In other words, the perfect choice to ensure this mission went alright.

The other man who went along with Kyosuke was Koichi Kizakura. He was Hope's Peak scout, meaning he was in charge of scouting out potential students for the school. Koichi was much more relaxed and sarcastic than Kyosuke was. He had clear blue eyes and ragged blonde hair, as well as a thin mustache and goatee. He was wearing a white tuxedo, along with a green undershirt plus a black vest top, a grayish tie, along with a stylish white fedora.

For now, both men were awaiting for their contact to arrive with the student they were supposed to be transporting. Although they've been waiting for the past hour and a half. Needless to say, Kyosuke was getting impatient. He was supposed to be continuing his work on Hope's Peak's overseas facility, not supervising over some suspended student.

"Ah, Miami. Certainly a sight I wanted to see in my free time, yet I never really got the chance until now. You know how busy my job gets. I'd say it's definitely been worth my time so far. It's not every day you get to visit the Everglades, you know. What's your highlight of the trip so far?", Koichi asked Munakata, before taking another sip from his beer bottle.

"I don't care about any sight-seeing right now, Kizakura. I'm more focused on our objective. We've been waiting here for almost an hour and a half now. How much longer will we have to wait for your contact to arrive? I don't want to waste more time waiting for this student", Kyosuke replied, in a more annoyed tone.

"You know it's not that simple, Kyosuke. Sonny's been supervising the kid ever since the suspension. From what I've been told, he's being transported here soon enough. Plus, traffic's been taking them too long, so they'll probably be arriving via helicopter. Just have some patience, my friend," Koichi reassuringly told him.

"I don't like to waste my time. Especially when I have to go all the way down to America just to make sure this student arrives in one piece. Why did Jin assign me to go along with this assignment, anyway? I'm sure Juzo would probably be better for something like this," Munakata said. He was busy looking at the rest of the airport.

"Ha! I think we both know Juzo would beat the kid senseless if he came along. He isn't exactly on good terms with him after the...incident, you know," Koichi said. The last thing we need right now is more casualties.

"How come? Could you share more details on who we are transporting? It's been a while since the incident occurred," Kyosuke told him, trying to recall the event.
