nailea's pov:

"Do you think I will get along with them? What if they don't really like me what will I do? And what about the school? I will be new, no one will talk to me, I'm screwed" I said dramatically to one of my best friends, Jaden. 

He shrugged his shoulders at all my questions and statements "Hey calm down Nai or you will have another breakdown today. Everything is gonna be alright you will meet new friends" Jaden said what made me stay calmer, meeting new friends is always a good thing.

"You're right but of course I won't forget you, you and Ness are my best friends I would never replace you guys" I said, both Nessa and Jaden been my best friends for years, we would always get along with each other and have tons of fun, they're the best.

"You get along with everyone Na, it will be easy you will see, you're so cheerful!" the boy said before taking a sip from the strawberry milkshake he was drinking. In reality i do not get along with everyone, and I'm not that cheerful like Jaden said, I know he's only saying it to make me feel better but in the other hand, I feel like everything will be alright.

My mom got another boyfriend, this one lives in the next city, at least I will be only two hours from my best friends, even thought I won't be able to see them everyday. My mom said her boyfriends has two kids and one of them is nineteen, my age. What can go wrong with living in the same house as a nineteen teenager? Boys are gross so I'm sure he's not different.

Not even five minutes after my short conversation with Jaden, I spot my mom running downstairs as soon as someone honks, it must be our taxi. Do I really need to go? I don't wanna get away from my friends. Nai think positive, you will have a nineteen year old step brother and a little sister! What can go wrong? After all, listen to Jaden, why am I talking to myself?

"Nailea are you ready? The taxi is waiting for us" my mom told me and I had no option other than get up from the chair and get my suitcases. Meanwhile Jaden said goodbye to both of us before leaving and probably either going to his house or going to hang out with Nessa, oh lord I will miss this.

After grabbing my suitcases and bringing them next to the taxi, the driver puts them inside the trunk, also with my mom's suitcases "Are you happy? It will be amazing Nailea you will meet them finally" my mom said, amazing? How is this going to be amazing? I hate being pessimist but every time my mom gets a boyfriend, we end up moving to somewhere else, it's so stupid.

Two hours later we had arrived, I could already see the man standing next to the front door, yup, it's my mom's boyfriend. While me and my mom got out of the taxi, the man walked over us, the first thing he did was kiss me mom? Alright stranger nice to meet you too. "Hi I'm Daniel Hacker" he said, alright that's better, now I know who he is but where the heck are his kids? Probably inside.

"Hi I'm Nailea" he introduced myself, but I was sure my mom told him about me multiple times since she has nothing better to talk about. Daniel was actually really nice, he helped us with the suitcases and made us a tour around the house, oh my...MY ROOM? IS A WIN WIN its so nice and has a huge bed. Lets not talk about my private bathroom alright? Yes I have a bathroom just for me. The room is kinda empty but soon it will be full of my stuff, I can't wait but I still didn't see his kids, the annoying teenager is probably inside his room playing video games, isn't what boys do?

As soon as I left my suitcases inside my room I saw a little kids running over to hug me, she's so cute and her name is Anna! I swear its the first good thing happening today, well the room is one too. "Hi Anna, I'm Nailea!" I said to the little girl, she's so sweet I can't believe she's my step sister?! Maybe her brother is not that bad.

While Anna went to her own room to play with her dolls, I left mine to explore the house, finding a closed door that decided to open, worst decision in my life. "Uh sorry" I said as I saw a boy inside the room, I OPENED HIS DOOR ROOM.

"What the fuck?! Get out of here" he said angrily, ok he's not someone nice like his sister, I don't even know his name oh my, "Sorry I didn't mean to I'm just exploring the house sorry, I'm nailea" I said, I don't think I made anything better, instead of it, my step brother probably hates me already.

"Yeah whatever Nalea get out" he said, my name is not Nalea what the hell, why couldn't he say my name right, is that hard to do?? I think he needs some spelling classes maybe, also he was so rude, wow sorry I had no idea that was your room pal. 

I closed the door and quickly went back to my room, apparently the only safe place in this house, well that's what I was thinking before seeing my step father standing on my door "Vincent is inside his room, you can go say hi" he said, oh so the boy name is Vincent, good to know at least I know something about my mysterious step brother that already hates me for apparently no reason.
