chan's new family

the whole day, students kept giving chan the same look. the look of disgust.

most of the time, felix was there for him, telling him to ignore the looks and to just move on.

when school was finally over for the day, chan immediately leaves the school to prevent him from getting more looks and more words said about him.

then his phone rang, and it's was hyunjin.

"hey hyunjin what's up?"

"chan you need to come here!"

"why?"

"felix is in a fight with two guys!"

"shit... okay I'll be there" he runs back into the school to see a crowd with in the middle it was felix who was getting beat up, but he was still fighting back.

"felix knock it off!" chan tries to stop him, but one of the two guys pushes him out of it.

chan pushes the two of them back and grabs felixs arm to bring him away from the scene.

"what the hell was that about!?" chan looks at him who stays silent, with tears coming down his cheeks.

"hey... why are you crying?"

"they... they... we're saying terrible things about us"

"what things?"

felix approaches to the front of the school to look for chan who wasn't there.

"looking for your abusive boyfriend?" one of the guys says.

"yeah, or are you looking for some friends because everyone else left you because of your gay attitude?" the two of them start laughing.

"fuck off" he says to them.

"how about you fuck off?"

"more like jump off... a bridge!" they keep laughing.

"both of you two can! less fags in the world! less abusers in the world too!"

as the two of them keep laughing, felix was feeling the complete opposite of laughing.

"I bet you helped chan abuse his parents!"

"shut the fuck up!" felix punches one of them. "he's not an abuser he's way more than you think!"

"you son of a bitch!" he punches felix back as the other one gangs up on him as well.

"felix..."

"I hate this fucking school"

"me too, but we'll get through it together okay?" chan holds his hand as felix nods.

...

"gosh this is really getting out of hand" miseok says as she treats felix's injuries from the fight. "your parents really are the worst"

"you don't have to tell me twice" chan says.

there's a knock at the door, felix looks at chan as to see if he can open it.

chan goes downstairs and opens the door to see jeongin.

"what are you doing here?"

"your maid miseok told me to come over" jeongin walks and chan looks confused as to why she would have him come over.

the two of them go upstairs.

"why did you have him come here?" chan asks.

"I'm glad you asked chan" she goes into her bag and takes out a folder to hand to chan.

"what's this?" he opens it and then he lets out a small gasp.

"you're... adopting me?"

"both of you"

"really?" jeongin asks.

"it was hard to get your parents signatures, but they eventually gave in"

"I... I don't know what to say" chan looks up at her, he then hugs her with jeongin joining.

"I'll probably never find anyone to have kids of my own, and chan you've always been more than my boss to me, I didn't want jeongin being left out too so here we are"

"thank you" chan says as he still remains hugging her.

"well actually you should thank someone else" chan looks at her. "it was felix's idea, it didn't take much convincing though"

chan looks at felix.

"when I went to the bathroom this morning, I actually called her and told her all the stuff you've been going through at school because of your parents, and how upset you were. when hyunjin asked if there's anyone you know that could adopt you, I knew miseok would be the one because you two have always been close, she's been more of a mom to you then your actual mom"

chan smiles and hugs felix.

"thank you so much"

when the two of them let go, their lips get closer to each others but then they stop when they realize miseok and jeongin are watching.

"oh go ahead" miseok says and they share a kiss while a smile come from miseok.

"also... with this... we'll be moving out" miseok says.

"oh" felix says.

"since we're a family now, it's only right that we find a place of our own to stay in" she goes on.

"why don't you come too?"

"huh?"

"come live with us, live with me" chan looks at felix.

"I... I don't know..."

"just do it bro" minho walks in.

"ever heard of knocking?" felix looks at him.

"nope don't know what that is, but felix you should do it... I think you'll be very happy" minho says. "I've never seen you happy with chan like I've seen you happy in years"

"it'll be a place close by so you'll still be able to go to school and graduate in 2 months" miseok says.

felix looks down as he thinks, when he looks back up he feels chan holds his hand.

he looks into his eyes and shows a small smile with a nod.
