Today was like any other day.
I started my day like always, I got up to gather my things so I could take a shower. I live in an orphanage together with many other children so we share bathrooms and I usually wake up earlier so I can get a shower before everyone else.
When I went down for breakfast the adults that take care of us started to stare at me. It's nothing unusual but I get sad everytime when they start to ignore me.
Maybe I should introduce myself. My name is Miyuki Sairen and I am 17, well 18 today and this is my last day at the orphanage since I am technically an adult. But I don't know what to do since nobody wants to hire me because of my looks. I have shoulder lenght pale blue hair and pale purple eyes and it's all natural and because of that everyone avoids me. Sometimes they call me freak and sometimes they just ignore me but nobody talks to me except one.
"Ah Miyuki good morning"
I give my favorite caretaker a big smile.
"Good Morning Sara"
Sara is the only one who doesn't ignore me. She is an older woman with brown hair in a high bun and blue eyes. She has always taken care of since nobody else want to do that and nobody wants to adopt me.
"So what do you want to eat today sweetheart" she asked me with a closed eye smile.
"I don't know, surprise me"
"Then pancakes coming right up" she said with a wink.
I just smiled, if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have anyone. She has always been there for me, supporting me when I was sad. I don't know who my parents are, I was left at the doorsteps with just a note with my name on it. Miyuki Sairen. No one could find my parents anywhere and I have always wondered if they loved me.
I shook off my toughts when Sara put a plate with pancakes infront of me.
"There you go sweetheart, your favorite"
I thanked her and started to eat. Then I saw it. A shadow started to across the room and then the whispering started. I put my hand over my ears and closed my eyes because sometimes I can't stand this, I don't know what they are or why I see them but this is one of the reasons why people avoids me. I took a deep breath and started to it again ignoring the whispering.
".... yuki.... Miyuki"
"Huh?"
Sara gave me a smile.
"If you don't hurry you will be late"
"Crap!"
I scarfed down my pancakes and rushed up to my room to grab my bag. I dreaded going to school I always feel alone, I don't have any friends and the teachers ignore me. I felt tears starting to well in my eyes but I pushed them back, I was not going to cry! I have been fine on my own for 18 years now and I can continue with that. I started going down the stairs again with my head down. I was about to open the door when Sara stopped me.
"Miyuki wait sweetheart"
I turned around to face her.
"I know that you have had it tough with finding a job and a solution to what you would do after today but I think I have a solution for you"
I looked at her questioning.
"How about you move in with me until you get a job and can afford your own place?"
I just stared at her in chock. Was she serious? I couldn't help it I started to cry.
"*Sniff* Really?"
I couldn't believe her, she really wanted to help me?
She gave me a soft smile.
"Of course sweetheart. I live alone and a little company and help at home would be nice to have"
I couldn't help it I ran and hugged her with all my might.
"Thank you"
"Your welcome sweetheart"
She tightened our hug then pushed me to the door.
"Now hurry before you get late"
I thanked her again and rushed out. I just made it in time for the bus and once I took a seat I pulled out my phone and started an episode of Naruto. Naruto was one of the things that made me feel like I belonged somewhere and I could kinda understand Naruto and Sasuke. The loneliness growing up. I wished sometimes that I could live in that world.
Once I got to school the glares and whispering started from the other students.
"She's a freak how can somebody have that hair and eyecolor"
I just put my head down and hurried to my locker. Then the shadows started to appear again and their whispering started to overpower everything. I could never hear what they were saying and it bugged me to no end but what could I do. I put my hands over my ears and closed my eyes.
"Shut up, shut up!"
People started to stare at me again.
"She's so weird what is she doing?"
I just decided to take my things from my locker and rush to my class.

After school I decided I wanted to walk home today. When I stood and waited for the light to become green so I could walk over the road everything became silent and started to move in slowmotion.
"It's time"
What?
"It's time for you to come home"
Home?
I don't know who's talking to me but it sounded like it came from inside my head. Then suddenly I felt like someone was pushing me.
"What?"
I stumbled on to the road and everything around me started to move again and the sound came back. I heard a horn from a car so I looked to my left to see a truck coming towards me.
My eyes widen and the only thing I could think was shit this is going to hurt.
