1928
Carlisle Cullen sped through the small town of Miami trying to sort things out. As soon as he had exited the hospital he found the whole town in chaos. He ran around trying to find what was provoking the fear.
He came across an dark alleyway where a woman covered in blood ran out, screaming and crying as she carried a small boy who was unrecognizable under all the injuries. Carlisle watched after her, desperately wanting to run after her and try and save the boy. But he had to find out what was causing these problems.
He crept into the dingy alleyway passing corpses and whimpering bodies covered in blood. A small figure, smothered in blood herself cowered in the corner, shaking. Carlisle crouched next to her and touched her arm and she lifted her head to look at him.
Her hair was a buttery blonde and unlike everything else on her body it was pristine. Her skin was paler than human but more human than vampire. Her full, heart-shaped lips were a deep red. Black tear strips were stained on her face and her cheeks were wet with tears. Blood was smudged against her face in random spots, like she had been trying to rub it away but had made it worse. The most noticable part of her face was her eyes. Big eyes with long lashes, and deep red iris's.
Carlisle was shocked. He wasn't quite sure what to make of her. She wasn't fully vampire but she was too beautiful to be human. He crouched there, frozen, his hand reaching towards her, his eyes staring into hers.
She moved first. Her expression changed from scared and pitying to curious and excited. She swivelled her legs around to face Carlisle properly and he moved out of his frozen state.
"I like your eyes," The comment was simple and easy to absorb but it took Carlisle a minute to process the clearness and the musicality to her voice.
"Oh, Um thanks, I like them too," he responded awkwardly, making her giggle. It sounded like angels playing together in the clouds of heaven.
"Are you OK?" He asked her, his medical training kicking in mixed with his confusion of whether this particular question should be directed towards her or the many dead people scattered along the alleyway. Her smile faded a bit.
"I'm so sorry if I have disturbed anything that you had built here. I really didn't mean it, but I haven't fed in 2 months." She finishes staring at the ground while Carlisle stared are her in awe."No no its fine. I actually own a property of my own just outside the town. Did you come from a different coven?" Carlisle knew he shouldn't start throwing questions at her but he needed to know more.
"Yes, I was part of the Volturi," She scowled at the thought."Well...more like a servant. Or a prisoner. Or a sex toy. Maybe a bit of them all"
"Do you have anywhere to stay now?" Carlisle wondered out loud, maybe considering the action of adopting another child.
"No. I've just been running and travelling and swimming, trying to get as far away from Volterra as possible." Carlisle started to notice how tired and thin she looked, which was unusual for one of his kind.
"What's your name?" She asked with a friendly but confident vibe in it."Carlisle Cullen. And yours m'lady?" Carlisle responded kindly wanting to know more about this strange girl.
"Luna Lupin," she exclaimed.
"And, I don't mean to be rude but...what exactly are you?" He questioned, longing to seek more information.
"I am half vampire, quarter human, quarter werewolf." She replied calmly to his question as he listened carefully trying not to express his emotions on his face."Or half vampire, half human. The werewolf bit doesn't really show in me."
Carlisle wanted to know more but she looked exhausted, starving and injured.
"I have tons more questions but first would you like to come with me to my house and we can fix you up and I could learn more about what you are?"Her smile lit up her face.
"Of course, I would love to see your house too!" She quickly jumped up and nearly fell over as her battered and tired legs tried to balance out her weight. Carlisle caught her arm before she fell onto her butt and she gave him an appraising look.As they checked for people and ducked out of the alleyway, Carlisle finally realised what she meant about "sex toy". Her body was more sexually attractive than beautiful and was shaped like an hourglass. She was also shorter than usual but only if you looked at people standing beside her you would realise. Her thin neck led down to her huge chest that seemed even more enlarged because of the size of her thin stomach and arms. Her butt was also the same. Larger than normal and led into her slightly smaller thighs but by the time he reached her knees her legs were skinny as pencils. He was already married and took no extra notice except for that she was one of the most attractive women that he had ever laid eyes on.
Carlisle learned a lot about this girl. Like how her mother was a human and her 2 fathers were a vampire and a werewolf. That she was 16 in pysichal age but only around 100 years younger than he was. That she had already been through a couple of relationships already but couldn't find the perfect person. And she was definetly not a virgin. She still had to do normal human things, but sometimes with a twist. She had to eat but could go a while without eating. She had to sleep but could go a few nights without it. She still got her period but only once every 6 months and she couldn't get pregnant. She could get cuts, get knocked out, break bones and has managed to break every bone in her body at least once. And her special gift was taking another's and making it more powerful. Controlling it ways the original owner couldn't even think of. Carlisle knew this girl was going to be interesting to live with.
