Ji Pyeong's POV

"Mr Han, aren't you heading back soon?" Dong cheon asks me. He yawns sleepily to gather his things.
"Ah, I need to tidy up some documents." I say as I glance at my watch. 10.30pm.

"AH. I see. Some documents. Yes, of course." Dong cheon asks with a small smirk on his face.

"What's that smirk for?" I ask, looking at Dong cheon from the corner of my eye.

Dong cheon comes behind my table and peers at my blank computer screen.

"Yes. Documents." He says jokingly.

"Yah!" I say as I gesture to him to step out of my desk space.

"Mr Han, you're waiting for Ms Seo to get off work so you can fetch her home safely, aren't you?" Dong cheon says happily.

I look at him, trying to appear baffled. But Dong cheon can read me easily... It can be irritating sometimes.

"What is Ms Seo so busy with these days?" Dong cheon asks me.

"She's working on a self-driving car project." I say with a touch of pride. "Tarzan. That's what she wants to name the self-driving car." I say.

"Wah, that's a pretty big project." Dong cheon says. "But looking at the size of In jae company, they'll probably need to expand to accommodate such a big project, don't you think so?" Dong cheon thinks aloud.

"Park Dong cheon. You are learning a lot these days." I say, sounding impressed. "CEO Won is thinking of branching out of the company. They'll have another branch. Cheong Myeong company. It'll be a subsidiary of In Jae company and CEO Won will appoint Dal mi as CEO for Cheong Myeong company." I explain, recalling the day Dal mi broke this piece of news to me. She was over the moon.

"Wah, Ms Seo is already accelerating the growth of the company. She is quite impressive." Dong cheon says.

"She is." I agree happily.

"Yah, you see. I knew you weren't actually working on some documents." Dong cheon teases me.

I glare at him and he immediately drops the teasing.

"Well then, happy waiting for your girlfriend!" Dong cheon winks.

"Ah! I almost forgot!" Dong cheon suddenly says before he takes his leave. "Ms Yoon asked me to leave you a message." He says and hands me a post-it.

"She needs to discuss something with you tomorrow. The timing and date are on the post-it." Dong cheon says.

"Oh, thank you." I say. "Did she say what the meeting was about?" I ask him. Dong cheon shrugs.

"She didn't give me any details." Dong cheon says.

Dal mi's POV

I stretch my sore neck and arms. I've been staring at the computer for the whole day, trying to finalize the business model plan and a thousand other things for the launch of Cheong Myeong Company.

"Aren't you heading off?" In jae asks me. We are the last two left in the office. The night sky casts a dark shadow over the office.

"Not yet. I still need to finish some details." I say with my eyes glued to the computer. In jae comes over to my desk and peers at me.

"Are you okay? You look a bit pale." In jae says with a smudge of concern in her tone. Working together with In jae has miraculously brought us closer together.

"I'm okay." I tell In jae, trying to push away the huge mountain of stress that weighs heavily on my chest.

"Are you sure?" In jae asks suspiciously, not buying my semblance of normalcy. "Don't overwork yourself too much." In jae says finally. She turns to glance at me once more before heading out of the office.
