Ji Pyeong's POV

"Dong cheon." I call him.

"Yes, Director Han?" Dong cheon asks.

"What is this?" I ask him, holding up a file that he left on my desk.

"Oh my! How did that get there?" Dong cheon laughs too loudly as he tries to feign ignorance. "I thought it was a good idea that you might want to take a look at." He says. "Ko Gil Dong project. It's a project that aims to fund orphanages and orphans as they integrate into society when they step out into the world."

"Okay, okay. Schedule a meeting with him tomorrow." I tell Dong cheon. Dong cheon grins at me. "Don't grin like that." I glare at him.

"By the way... Director Han..." Dong cheon asks.

"Yes?" I look at him. He's wearing his usual silly smile on his face.

"When are you going to propose to Ms Dal mi?" Dong cheon asks and winks at me.

"What?" I ask in shock. "How did you know-?"

"It's so obvious." Dong cheon grins and looks too excited.

"What?" I ask, still speechless with disbelief. Dong cheon nods towards the ring box on my desk.

"You keep twirling the box in your hand." Dong cheon says. "Just propose to her already!" Dong cheon whines like a fangirl.

"I was going to!" I tell him.

"REALLY?" Dong cheon exclaims.

"WHEEEEEEEE!"

Before I can reply Dong cheon, a loud exclaim rings through the hallway.

It's unmistakably Dal mi's voice.

I sit up in attention. Am I hearing things?

"Dong cheon, did you hear that?" I ask him. From Dong cheon's facial expression, it's evident that I'm not hearing things.

"That sounds an awful lot like Ms Dal mi, don't you think?" Dong cheon asks.

The door of the office bursts open and I almost fall out of my chair as Dal mi bursts in.

"JI PYEONG AH!!!" She exclaims drunkenly. I look at her with my jaw dropped. She flaps her arms around and starts spinning in circles. The other colleagues look at her with shocked expressions.

I pinch my cheeks, thinking I must be dreaming.

"There!" I hear familiar voices sound through the hallway and soon the Samsan boys topple into the office as well.

"Quick! Get her!" Do san exclaims as Dal mi spins around in the office.

"OH! MY JI PYEONG AH!" Dal mi exclaims in a cheery voice. She gallops towards me and leaps into my arms.

"Oh my!" I say in shock as Dong cheon dodges her quickly as she falls flat against my chest.
"What are you-" I ask, completely confused. I get cut off by Dal mi's drunken speech.
"MY JI PYEONG IS THE BEST IN THIS WORLD! LA LA LA LA LA LA LA ROMANTIC SUNDAYYY!" She starts singing. Dal mi reaches out and plants a big kiss on my face.

"Oh my-" I say in shock, trying to balance her in my arms while taking in the shock of the smell of alcohol on her.

"Hold still..." I sigh as I try to carry her in my arms to move her to another room but Dal mi starts flapping her hands randomly.

"CATCH ME!" She says as she does a trust fall but falls in the opposite direction from me.

"Oh my!" I exclaim in shock as I lean forward to catch her. "Aigoo..." I mutter as I finally lift her up in my arms.

"I'm sorry." I apologize shyly to the other colleagues who look at us with wide eyes mixed with amusement and disbelief.

"LA LA LA LA LA LA LA ROMANTIC SUNDAYYY!" Dal mi is still singing in an awfully loud voice when I bring her into one of the empty meeting rooms. The Samsan boys, Sa ha and In jae follow me. In jae looks like she's about to strangle Dal mi if she doesn't keep her mouth shut.

"Help me." I gesture to them, struggling to keep Dal mi in my arms as she squirms in my arms like a fish on land. They quickly make a makeshift bed out of chairs and pillows.

"Shhh..." I coax Dal mi to stop singing as I set her down.

"NO!" Dal mi protests as I cover her mouth with my hand. But then she kisses my hand and hugs my arm.

"What the..." I mutter as I try to pull my arm away from her. Each time I try to pull my arm away from her, she starts whining like a baby. In the end, I concede defeat and let the drunk girl hold only my arm. At least her eyes are shut and she looks like she's about to fall asleep.

"What on earth was that?" I turn to look at the rest. They all wear the same embarrassed expression. Except for In jae... In jae looks like she's about to whack Dal mi.

"Well she..." Do san tries to explain. "We gave her what we thought was a nutritional booster..." Do san's voice trails on.

"But we didn't realize that Hyeon and Jeong had actually kept soju in those bottles..." Chul san continues the story.

"So, CEO Seo unknowingly chugged a great deal of alcohol... And then, well, this happened." Yong san says, gesturing to the drunk sleeping girl who holds my arm like it's her safety blanket.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

"At least she didn't puke this time." I say, looking at Do san as we both share the memory.

"I'm sorry. We tried to stop her but she's unreasonably fast." In jae apologizes.

"It's okay." I reassure them. Dal mi is out cold now. She's fast asleep. I loosen my arm from her grasp. She continues to sleep like a baby.

"Don't worry about her. I'll take care of her." I tell the rest as I remove my jacket and place it over Dal mi.

"Are you sure?" In jae asks apologetically.

"What was all that commotion I heard?" Ms Yoon asks as she walks into the room. She stares at us. "Oh dear, what happened to CEO Seo?"

"A mix up in drinks..." Chul san says shyly. Ms Yoon laughs with amusement.

"It must be really stressful to be a CEO these days." Ms Yoon says. "Don't worry about your CEO. I'm sure Director Han will take good care of her." She says.

The Samsan boys, Sa ha and In jae nod politely as they take their exit.
"That was very amusing to watch." Ms Yoon tells me as she looks at Dal mi, who now sleeps quietly. "I didn't realize Ms Dal mi was so badly head over heels for you." Ms Yoon winks.

"What?" I laugh.

"Didn't you hear her?" Ms Yoon asks. "Ji pyeong ah! My Ji pyeong ah!" Ms Yoon mimics Dal mi's drunken speech.

I try to hide my laughter.

"Aigoo." I laugh softly as I watch Dal mi sleep soundly after Ms Yoon has stepped out of the room. "I was going to propose to you today, but I think I'll need to come up with Plan C." I whisper.
