The twentieth birthday

Herobrine's POV

So today is finally the day. The day I get my little prize for all my troubles. Stevie. He doesn't even know it yet! That just makes things even more entertaining for me! "You seem very happy today master!" Said the Piglin general Scott. "Yes, I am quite happy today General Scott. Do you know why?" I asked. He paused for a moment. "Today you are going to retrive the little prize that you've told us all so much about?" He questioned. "Precisely!" I praised.

Notches POV

I have been dreading this day for so long. Hopefully Herobrine cannot get passed all of the guards before I get Steven out of here. Who am I kidding he can just teleport past them! Oh fuck me. Why did I teach him to teleport again? I'm just going to have to keep a close eye on Steven. And hope today passes quickly... No offence to Steven though, but I need him to be part of mine and the Glitches plan.

Steve's POV

I quickly get up and change. Today I turn twenty years old! I know not the most exciting thing but Notch said he might take me to the overworld  today or tomorrow! I've always wanted to see what it's like for myself. The stories I've been told by the guards and Notch have made me picture it as a magical place where everyone is free. The large fields filled with plantation and so much more! I do hope that he doesn't go back on his word like last  year. Or that other guy who for some reason won't stop looking at me is there. I really don't won't a huge commotion on my twentieth. Little did I know that was exactly what I was going to get. 

Herobrines POV

I was watching Stevie celebrate his birthday. A man bearing a red cloak caught my eye. He was staring at Stevie. Before I collect Stevie I'm gonna kill that guy before he tries anything. I saw Notch giving a speech, he was clearly on edge. It was amusing seeing him being so paranoid. He's not wrong for being paranoid he was gonna lose Stevie tonight. Either Stevie sneaks out through the crack in the wall or I go in and get him. Stevie's sneaking out I can tell. He appears to be really sick of staying in this filthy place. He's going to have to be careful though Notch has tightened security again. I swear he does this every year! He knew I wasn't coming until his twentieth. Not any fucking chance I get. I'm not that stupid.

Steve's POV

I was tired out from all of the walking around we did today. I had to literally stop myself from falling over about 20 times. I waited untill I heard Notches door closed. "Right time to go Steve." I told myself. I hyped myself up a bit before jumping off of my balcony. It was only about seven blocks down to the nearest roof. "That hurt more than expected" I thought. I got up continuing to jump from roof to roof, hiding whenever I saw a group of guards. Notch increased the security again. He does this every year. Almost as if he's expecting someone to come in and just kidnap someone. I got to the crack in the wall and saw two guards stood there. "Whyyyyyy do we have to guard the craaaack." One whined. "Because of the risk of someone breaking in and attempting to kidnap the prince." I assume the more sensible one said. "Well I'm gonna go to the bar! Are you coming or not?" The first one said. The more sensible one hesitated for a moment, before finally caving in to the more irresponsible ones request. "Fine." Is all he said. They both walked off to the bar that was around two streets away. "Yes! Luck must be on my side!" I whisper yelled. And I ran through the crack. I caught my arm on a sharp ledge at one point, but was too exited to notice.

Once I got out i looked around in awe. It was beautiful. The tall grass, the shining stars, the short oak trees under the moons magical shine was just beautiful. I looked at the tree line and saw a pair of glowing white eyes staring at me. Is it an Enderman with white eyes? Or a new mob that I haven't been told about? Because I'm fairly certain that the only mob with glowing white eyes are the allay.
