"FOUND YOU!" A little girl screamed as she jumped out from behind a bush, finding her blue haired friend who was hiding.
"No fair you always find me" He said in a little huff. The little girl laughed and sat next to him. "I told you, I'm the best at hide and seek" She had such a proud grin on her face. "You're better than me at everything though, it's not just hide and seek" He huffed again as she reassured him.
"Awe come on Rin, there has to be something out there that you're good at" She patted his head, Rin just looked at her "I don't need your pity" He pouted, the little girl just sat and comforted him, she was a very positive little girl.
"Pumpkin! Dinner time, say goodbye to Rin please" The girl's dad yelled from afar, the little one acknowledged her dad's call, said her fair wells and ran back home with her dad for dinner.

"(Y/n)! You're going to be late for work, get up!" My mother yelled from the bottom of the stairs, no response was given out to her, she sighed and walked up stairs, which I heard very clearly, jumped out of bed, scurried about to get ready so it looked like I have been up for hours.
"(Y/n)?" My mother knocked on the door before poking her head in, I turned to look at her with a little smile "morning mom" I gave her a little hug "Morning darling, I didn't realise you were up, there's pancakes on the table downstairs darling" Mother said with a smile, I nodded in acknowledgement, grabbing my bag and going downstairs grabbing a plate of pancakes.

After breakfast I grabbed my stuff and left for work. It was a short 5 minute walk to the store I worked in, a nice local supermarket, and a good way to get to know people... the only downfall is the ugly yellow uniform I'm forced to wear.
"Morning (y/n)" One of the shop regulars smiled with a little wave "Morning Mrs Hart, did you find everything? I know what you're like, forgetting a few things, like your grandsons favourite ice cream?" I pointed at the ice cream section, and she smiled "what would I do without you deary, you should deserve a raise with that kindness you have" Mrs Hart walked off to go get her usual ice cream whilst I went to clock in for work.
"Miss (last name) we have a new employee, I'm leaving it to you to show him the ropes for me please, I know I can trust you" My boss Ms Momoi came trotting over with a boy who looks to be my age.
"(L/n) this is Okumura, now chop, chop there is a lot of work to be done" She said before walking off to bother someone else. "So okumura, wanna start putting things on shelves, code to the stock room is *cue code cause im lazy lmao* if you need to grab anything from there" I finished and indicated to him to follow me, as we went to stock shelves.

After a while of stocking shelves and had set Okumura on his own task of stocking shelves I decided to go check on him, make sure the boss isn't setting him out on wild tasks, it's like the boss likes picking on newbies.
And like I suspected, she was sending him off on wild tasks, managing to mess up a few, me being me laughed each time he failed something because he would have failed in a funny way, like running the boss over with trolleys, he wasn't hurt so I went back to what I was originally doing, with the odd till service.
After some time I saw the newbie walking through the store with his head hung low, heading to the back of the shop, the boss mustn't have been happy with him running her over with trolleys.
"Is that handsome young man new here?" An elderly customer asked as I started to scan her shopping and placing it into a bag. "Yeah, today is his first day, was it obvious that he was new here?" I chuckled trying to make a joke out of it, which then was responded by a cute elderly laugh "it's very obvious, bless him though I hope he is okay, the poor boy has done nothing but run about since I arrived, give him my good luck for me though, he must really need it" She smiled and payed for her stuff and left. It was rather quiet so I took the opportunity to go find the newbie to make sure he actually is okay.
