You have always felt like you were second place, that you were always chosen last, how you have always been in your brothers shadow.

The thing is your just as smart, just as rich and just as brave as your brother. But for some reason the world made it seem as if so your brother was the more advanced, more loved sibling.

Even with it all, growing up with the teasing that your brother is better, or the way the world chooses him over and over again.

You never once hated your brother, and you never will, because little do people know your brother is your biggest supporter and your Bestfriend.

He'd do anything for you and you'd do the same for him, so when he asked you to go into his office at the hospital to pick up a few things, you didn't hesitate once to help.

So here you are on your way to the hospital, you stop by quite frequently at times to either pick him up or grab lunch with him, so your well known around the place, so when walking right in without a question was seen as normal.

You finally made your way up to the floor of his office when your turn round a corner and bump straight into someone knocking all the hospital files in their hands everywhere.

"Oh god I am so sorry" The angelic voice spoke up as you both took a brief scan at the floor that's covered in paperwork.

"No no it was my fault I didn't look-" You begin to say as you finally take a glance up to see the beautiful voice that belongs to the stunning woman in front of you.

"Christine" You say smiling brightly once you instantly recognising your brothers old friend and colleague.

"Y/N, wow sorry I didn't see you there" She says matching your smile as she places a gentle touch to your forearm.

"It was my fault really, I wasn't watching where I was going" You continue to say as you both crouch down to start picking up the files.

"Oh I wasn't either, so what are you doing here? I thought Stephen was in Dubai?" She asks confused to your sudden surprise visit.

"No he is, he just asked me to grab a file from his office to send over to him" You share with her as you go to pick up the last file, when she had reached for it as well, causing you both to brush your hands against each other, making you blush at the contact.

It was fairly obvious your feelings for the young doctor, your friends knew, your brother, hell the whole of New York probably knows.

But what you seem to have no acknowledge of was the same feelings Christine has for you.

"Oh uh I'm actually using his office whilst he's away, I-I can walk you their if you'd like?" She suggests looking away from you so you couldn't see the light pink blush that formed on her cheeks from the brief contact the moment prior.

You beamed at the thought of getting to spend a moment longer with her "That sounds perfect, thank you" You say as you both finally stand up and begin to make your way to Stephens office.

After the short walk there of slight chatter, you finally walk through the doors of his office using his spare key card with Christine trailing behind you.

"So what was the file he needs, maybe I can help find it for you?" She asks as she sets her things down onto the desk as you roam around the room.
