41 years ago today, the world lost its best dreamer. Rest In Peace John. I just can't believe it's been this long since you've been gone. You've been gone longer than you were alive. A very short life. Too short.
I remember the first time I listened to your solo music. Sure, your Beatles music is great too, but your solo work is very underrated. I was very impressed. That's when you became my favorite Beatle.
You devoted your life to working for peace. Sadly, your life came to a devastating end. By violence. Something you worked so hard to overcome. I still don't believe it. How could someone do that?
I know you wouldn't want us to be sad today, but I can't help it. It's just too unbelievable. How can something like that happen to someone so sweet, so funny, and so talented?
We won't forget you John. Nobody will. You were a musician. A father. A husband. A friend. A hero. Rest In Peace John. Dream on dreamer.
