First day

Y/n P.O.V~

I yawned as I got out of bed and quickly got dressed. I then brushed my teeth before I got a notification on my phone. I quickly looked to see a text message from my sister. The message read as such "Hey Y/n; I left a satchel bag at your door with your school schedule and your supplies in it - Elizabeth." I sighed as I made my way to my door and opened it, seeing the bag my sister had left me.

I opened the bag and took out my class schedule. My eyes scanned the paper looking for my first class. Unfortunately, my first class was math, the class I was the worst at; well, at least I would be getting it out of the way fairly quickly. I went to the cafeteria and got myself a bag of chips from one of the vending machines and a bag of candy. I had the bag of chips as my breakfast, not wanting to get school breakfast. After eating my breakfast, I began to make my way to my math class early because I was told to get to it before they started. That way, I could find my assigned seat. I quickly found my seat and sat in it, resting it back on the seat. Students poured into the classroom for a couple of minutes, all taking their seats. The class went on for what seemed like a literal hour before it finally ended. Next up was science which with Hank wasn't super hard or bad. It was just dull, and I had no idea what the hell was going on and being honest, I did my best to take all the notes I could because Hank said that we were going to have a quiz in it in a few days. My next class was one I was looking forward to, computer science. It was my favorite class back at my old school, and I was happy that I would get the chance to retake it. I began to walk around the school looking for the class; however, I got lost and couldn't find anyone; I got lost looking around the massive house. I then hear a voice echoing out.

???:" Hey, are you Y/n?"

I quickly turned around to see a woman with brown hair and brown eyes standing behind me.

Y/n:" Um, yeah, I'm Y/n, how come."

???:" Oh, I'm your computer science teacher Ms. Pryde, but you can call me Kitty if you like."

Y/n:" Well, nice to meet you, Ms.Pryde; sorry for being so late I just got a little lost."

Kitty:" It's not a problem but,"

Kitty grabbed my hand as she spoke and pulled along.

Kitty:" We should get back to class."

Kitty pulled me towards a wall making my eyes widen as I spoke in worry.

Y/n:" Ms.Pryde, wait!"

Kitty pulled the two of us into a wall, making us crash into each other and fall to the ground as I spoke apologetically.

Y/n:" Sorry, Ms.Pryde, but whenever a mutant touches me, their powers don't work."

Kitty smiled as she pulled me to my feet and spoke.

Kitty:" It's okay; we'll just have to take a long way around."

Kitty and I talked as we reached the class. Sadly, the course went by too fast for my liking. After that was history with a teacher who was honestly kind of scary was my last class of the day linguistics, and thankfully, I didn't get lost on the way to that class. I entered the class and took my seat; when the class began, I saw that same woman with a white streak in her hair the other day. As it turns out that the woman's name was Anna Maire, but her friends called her Rogue. Class passed by incredibly fast, and I would leave, but I heard Anna speak out with a southern accent.

Anna:" Y/n, could ya stay after class?"

Y/n:" Sure."

I walked down to Anna as she spoke.

Anna:" Hey, so about yesterday Ahm sorry for fallin' on ya."

Y/n:" Oh hey, no need to worry; it's not a problem."

Anna sighed as she spoke.

Anna:" Is it true that ya can stop mutant abilities."

Y/n:" Yeah, but they have to be touching me for it to work."

Anna slightly blushed as she spoke unsurely.

Anna:" Can Ah touch you?"

Y/n:" What?"

Anna:" Sorry, it's gist Ah can't touch anyone without hurting them because of my powers. So Ah was wondering if I could feel you just for a second."

I thought about it for a second and spoke.

Y/n:" Um, sure, why not."

Anna smiled as she took the pair of leather gloves she wore and grabbed my hand softly, feeling my skin before putting a palm to my cheek, making me blush before she pulled away, smiling while speaking.

Anna:" Thanks for that Y/n Ah needed it."

I smiled as I spoke.

Y/n:" It's no problem; if you need like a hug or something, I'm here."

Anna smiled before speaking.

Anna:" Thanks, Ah will."

I left Anna's classroom and went back to my room, taking a load off and relaxing after my first day of school.
