well, this post is long due, but i could not get myself to write it, bc i hate to disappoint, but i'll just have to deal with it for now.
i am sorry for the way this story was updated, or more like not updated... started it ages ago and lost motivation to write it like a million times before. i originally started writing social media fics here bc they seemed easy to make and i wanted to just busy myself and it worked perfectly for a bit. writing a fic like this is not a challenge to me anymore as a writer, but this does not mean i don't have respect for writers who create social media fics.
i am not active anymore on this platform, updating this story is just not something i can find the will in me to do and for a while i've known i would not be finishing it. it's selfish that i left it hanging like that, i came here from time to time, seeing the comments, begging for an update that i knew would never come so for that, i am sorry. i should have made this move way earlier.
but im not sorry for deciding to "end" the story, i would have never finished it the way i originally wanted because i haven't had the motivation to do it anymore. it would have been just a draining obligation, not a creative work for me. i though about deleting the story, but that just felt wrong, so i'll leave it up and if anyone is interested in what would have happened im gonna give you a quick summary of what i had planned: initially i wanted tom to reach out to austin and clear his relationship with cherry, make it clear that they are truly just friends. cherry and tom would have rekindled their romance, giving it another chance, but as life would have started again after the first wave of covid and tom started working again they would have faced some issues bc of the different lives they were living. i wanted cherry to doubt if she was the right fit for tom, but then he would have proven that they were a match, making it in the long run at the end.
i hope this at least serves as a closure for the story, i feel bad for abandoning it.
