After the Valkyrie Battle, the names in the 1 V 1 battles were set as the major fight has shown:
---Midoriya vs Shinsou--- (Midoriya Won)
---Todoroki vs Sero--- (Todoroki Won)
---Lida vs Mei--- (Lida Won)
---Bakugou vs Ochaco--- (Bakugou Won)
All while, Ikki, Kaito, Zox, and Shinjiro were put into the next fight as they were given a special position by the Principal, though albeit discreetly.
With Ikki's "Quirk" they had to make it fair so they paired Kaito and Zox against them, considering that Ikki would have Vice to fight with him during the battle...
Though Shinjiro was another case, he was told to replace Lida since he had gotten a phone call from his family, so he had to leave abruptly.
So Shinjiro was up against Todoroki in the Semi-Finals.
