Chapter 1: New Visitors & Rising Evil

Y/N's POV

And just like that, it's all over the news. Monsters have somehow escaped The Underground, The Barrier is broken. I've always wanted to see what the Monsters were like myself, but at the same time, I don't know if I should. I suppose I'll go and see them.

I really hope that my trust doesn't betray me.

After about a 10 minute walk, I finally reach
Mt. Ebott. When I get there, I see several different monsters standing there. I'm not going to bother describing them.

Frisk: Hi there! My name is Frisk, what's your's?

Y/N: It's Y/N.

Frisk: Nice to meet you Y/N! These are my friends!

Y/N: You've got quite a few friends.

Frisk: Yeah, I met them while I explored The Underground!

Y/N: So, um, who are they all exactly?

Frisk: Right! Those two tall goats over there are my adoptive parents Asgore & Toriel!

Y/N: Okay.

Frisk: The smaller one next to them is my brother Asriel!

Y/N: Alright.

Frisk: Those three skeletons are my friends. The tall one is Docter Gaster, we just call him Gaster. The shorter skeleton to the left of him is his son Papyrus. And the short skeleton is Sans, he likes to make puns, just a warning.

Y/N: I think I'll be fine.

Frisk: That Robot over there is Mettaton, he's the star of The Underground!

Y/N: K

Frisk: Lastly, those two over there are Undyne & Alphys. You can probably guess who is who.

Y/N: Yeah.

I look around to see another person in a Green and Yellow sweater just like Asriel's.

Y/N: Who's that over there?

Frisk: Ah, right! That's Chara! They accompanied me throughout The Underground.

Y/N: I see.

Chara's POV

I don't know who that is, but I'm sensing a strange energy that I know all too well. I'm gonna have a talk with him.

Chara: Excuse me.

Y/N: Huh?

Chara: Can we talk in private please?

Y/N: Sure, I guess.

Frisk: Chara, don't do anything stupid.

Later

Y/N: So, what is it?

Chara: I have a question.

Y/N: Shoot.

Chara: What Soul Trait do you have?

Y/N: . . .Why do you ask?

Chara: I'm sensing a familiar energy coming from you.

Y/N: -Sigh- I see. It's Determination.

Chara: Well that's a rarity, but I know there's more to it.

Y/N: Fine, you wanna know that badly?

Chara: Well of course I do.

Y/N: Fine.

He starts to pull up his stat menu and I can see that he's Level 5.  He has some interesting stats. Atk 75, Def 125, Lv 5. Finally, I got to see his Soul. He has an interesting Soul. A perfectly split Soul. Half of it is Determination like he said, but the other half is Hate. My suspicion was proven correct, but how did it happen?
