THE YOUNG BOY
crawled after him, cheeks burning furiously at the humiliation. His knees were burning and scraping against the floor, head down as he watched his hand movements, knowing Daniel was just in front of him.
"You're slowing down, pup. Come on, keep going." Corbyn's head lifted to see the older standing by his bedroom door, already opened widely. The brunet's cheeks turned even brighter, lip bitten as he realized Daniel had been watching him the whole time. "I'm not patient, Corbyn, hurry up." The younger quickened his movements, sitting down in front of the bed when Daniel told him to.
"Maybe you are a good boy, huh?" Corbyn was looking up at him when Daniel set his steps towards the boy, the older's arms still crossed. "Tell me what you deserve, pup." The teenager tilted his head at the demand, eyes avoiding Daniel's figure. "I don't know." He replied after minutes, the blond's stare still on him. "You don't know, pup? Hmm, do you deserve to sleep with me on the bed tonight?" Corbyn replied with the same saying, shrugging his shoulders as he looked down at his fiddling fingers.
Daniel scooped the younger up bridal style, gently laying him down on the bed. "Next time i ask you if you want, or deserve to sleep beside me, just answer with a 'yes', i want you to be confident in your good deeds. Understood?" His hands were on either side of Corbyn's head, knees between Corbyn's legs as the younger stared up at him. The teenager just replied with a nod, lips puckering when Daniel leaned down.
"Hmm, so now you want to kiss me?" He smirked lightly, pecking the younger's lips. "I wanna go to sleep." Daniel only nodded, laying down beside the younger before he lifted Corbyn up onto his body. "Go to sleep, bubba. You deserve some rest."
The brunet bit the inside of his cheek, it was embarrassing for him to be unclothed, while Daniel was still wearing his jeans and sweater, the material rubbing against his skin every time he adjusted.
"Close your eyes, pup. Go to sleep, it's late." Daniel whispered the words, fingers running through the coconut scented, dark strands of hair. His free hand gently rubbed Corbyn's back, nails leaving soft red lines.
His eyelids fluttered closed, he felt comfortable enough and the stress and exhaustion got to him once more, soft snores falling from his lips rather quickly.
Daniel picked up his phone, face recognition unlocking the cellular device immediately. His fingers continued their play with the younger's hair, phone clutched in his free hand as he typed Corbyn's name down into the search bar. The tons of articles loaded onto his screen, lighting up the dark room.
'Seventeen year old still missing'.
'Besson family will not give up'.
'J. Frantzich suspect of foul play in Corbyn Besson's case'.
Daniel's eyes ran along the lines, stopping once he read the familiar name. He smirked lightly, clicking on the headline which directed him to the newly written article. His free hand ran along Corbyn's body, resting on his lower back as he retreated it from his butt.
"Dani?" His eyes lifted towards him, the light having awoken the young boy from his light slumber. "Can you put your phone away, please?" His voice was already groggy, words slurred together from his ten minute nap. "I will in a minute, pup. I'm reading an important article right now, it's about your friend." The brunet's head lifted immediately, situating his body so he could read along.
"Jonah? He isn't my friend, Dani." The young boy softly announced, taking the twenty three year old's hand and placing it back on his waist once their fingers intertwined. "Oh, i know. I just didn't know what to call your one night stand. At least, it started with one night, huh, pup? It became two, then three, then ten, eleven, all until thirty-eight." Corbyn's eyes fell onto his face, feeling Daniel's heated stare. "And i had enough of it, Corbyn. I wasn't allowing you to continue with that any further. So, once you left his house, i took you to ours."
"He doesn't deserve that, Dani. He didn't do anything wrong. Jonah helped me through the rejection of my parents and taught them to love me once more, he provided a certain comfort that i needed at that moment. He doesn't deserve to go through this because they suspect and want to charge him with something you did to me. It really is some shitty police work."
"So, we're back to being ungrateful, huh? Right as i thought i had my good puppy back." The brunet shook his head lightly. "I'm not being ungrateful, Dani. I just don't want him to go through that, he's easily frightened and traumatized. I think it's enough for him to lose me, he doesn't deserve to be suspected of my kidnapping, or as they say 'murder', because it's been more than a week, although they haven't even found my body." He paused lightly. "And they never will, right? You promised you wouldn't hurt me." Daniel leaned down and pecked his forehead, hand tightening around Corbyn's own. "And they never will, pup. I would never go too far."
"I really hope you mean what you're saying, Dani. I really don't want to die yet, i don't want to miss time with you." The lies continued, but Daniel never suspected they were anything but the truth. "I like it here with you. You take care of me, you don't hurt me." He smiled brightly, teeth showing as he kept their eyes locked.
"I love you, puppy. I won't ever go too far, i promise. But if you don't listen to me there are always going to be consequences. I never want you to try to escape again. You have no reason to. You're safe here, Corbyn. Nobody can hurt you when you're with me. I'm only looking out for you, i'm the best you'll ever have, puppy." Corbyn looked down at their hands, tightening his grip and rubbing his thumb lightly over the back of Daniel's hand.
"I won't try again."
