"If You Were Mine"

Episode II

After waiting for 15 minutes one worker came and he said to Amaan that "Boss is ready to meet you now. Please follow me and I will take you to the Boss's office". He followed the worker and he took him to the 20th floor of the building where Mr. Akbar used to work. At the door worker asked Amaan to go alone in the room and he wished him All the best for his meeting.

When Amaan entered the room he was pleased to see that wonderful office. Everything in that room was well managed and expensive. In the room Mr. Akbar was waiting for Amaan already and when he entered He exclaimed "Welcome gentleman I believe Kamaal sent you to me and If I am not wrong your name is Amaan. Right?". Amaan replied Yes and Mr. Akbar asked him to Have a seat. When he sat, Mr. Akbar said "Tell me everything about your situation and let me know how I can help you because the person who sent you to me is my closest friend and he did a lot of favors for me. So be easy and start speaking" Amaan didn't know where to start but first he thanked Mr. Akbar for being so kind with him and then he started saying "To be honest I am really helpless right now, My father was the only source of income for my family but he met with an accident due to which we are facing severe financial crisis nowadays. So I just need a job to support my family and I beg you that if you have any post for me in this big company kindly favor me for that. I will never forget your favor till my death".

Mr. Akbar was focused on his words and after he stopped Mr. Akbar said "I am an honest man and I won't lie to you. Your qualifications and experience are not matching for any respectable post in our company's standards. But I will still consider you for two reasons. One is that the man who sent you to me did a lot of favors for me so this is a time for a favor return and Second is you are helpless and if I refuse you today I have to answer God at end day for not helping you. So you can feel happy now you have got a job now and from tomorrow you can join "The Fundamental Manufacturer of Papers" (Company name). Amaan showed no expressions as he didn't believe that he got the job that easily. After a few seconds he got back to normal and he thanked Mr. Akbar for that kindness and he promised him that he will never disappoint him and he asked him to leave as well. Mr. Akbar said My pleasure to him and gave him permission to leave.

Amaan was not feeling excited even after that big achievement of his life, rather than feeling happy for his first job he was imagining the face of that girl. He was on the way to his home when he started talking to himself and he said "Maryam! What a beautiful name it is just like her. How can a girl be that beautiful?"

He reached home where all his home mates were waiting for him and after the very next second of his entrance his mother asked "What happened? Have you got the job?". He looked at his mother's face and replied "Yes fortunately I got the job and I need to join from tomorrow". He addressed his father and said "Mr. Akbar is a good man with a nice nature more than Uncle Kamal told me. So please thank Uncle Kamal for referring to him". His father said Ok to him and he advised him as well to work with heart and soul on which he replied Inshallah.

He was eager to tell all the scenarios to his friend Shan. He went to him quickly and asked him to come into that park where they used to visit daily. Shan asked the reason for his excitement but he refused to tell him there and he asked Shan to come to that park. When they reached there Shan asked with curiosity what he have to tell. Amaan said "Today is a very special day for me". Shan said "I got it, you are happy because you got the job right?". Amaan replied "Yes I got the job but this is not the real reason for my happiness". Shan said "You know me Amaan. Don't make suspense, I am not even curious so it will be of no use".

Amaan looked at the sky and he took a long breath and said "I don't know what to tell and where to start. But I saw a girl at the company and since I looked at her once I am unable to stop myself to think about her". Shan heard it calmly and said "That's unusual ! You never spoke about any girl like that before So I would like to know what's special about that girl and How does she look like?". Amaan replied politely "I don't know what's special about her but I was unable to take my eyes from her face. She seemed young, something around 17 to 18 years old. She was wearing a green dress with a scarf on her head which was enhancing her beauty. In short I never saw a girl more beautiful than her in my entire life". Shan said "That's a good sign you should talk to her then ''. Amaan said "Oh No, Not now first I have to focus on work. I don't know what work will be given to me from Mr. Akbar but whatever it will be I have to prove myself in it because he showed trust in me. So now I am waiting for tomorrow morning only and I hope that I will get a glimpse of her tomorrow"...............
