"You're cute" said Saya in response to Claude's confession. He was 18 this year and finally had the courage to tell his long time crush how he felt. He observed her for the past 8 years and noticed that she was interested in both women and men but only pursued women. That meant he had a chance.

Claude accidentally found out Saya's secret when he was 15. Saya actually had a male genitalia! It was at this moment that he connected the dots of her masculine clothing and interest in females. It all must have been because she felt that she was a man! Which is what Claude thought.

However Claude was wrong. Saya explained to him that she was just comfortable wearing pants and that girls were attractive. Claude took that as he wasn't attractive. He was a little gloomy afterwards.

Fast forward three years and we are back to the confession scene. Claude pouted as he wasn't being taken seriously. Also he didn't like being called cute. "I'm being serious." Claude stated, indeed sounding very serious. "Yes, well, I know" Saya sipped the tea in her cup.

They were in Saya's estate given to her by her father on her eighteenth birthday. It was about the size of a count's mansion. Saya didn't need all the space in the house but her father wouldn't settle for anything less.

Claude sat in silence with his head down. He thought he had been rejected. Saya looked at Claude and noticed his hands tightly gripping his pant legs. She sighed and put down her tea.

At the sound of Saya sighing, Claude looked up again. Although Claude was usually emotionless, he was still like a child, full of emotions in front of Saya. He would not cry but he looked like he wanted to.

Saya got up from her seat on the couch and walked over to the couch Claude was seated on. She took Claude's confused, saddened face in her hands and looked into his eyes.

"Why're you sad? I didn't give you a response yet." Claude listened to her weird way of talking. She had a bit of an accent and slurred her words together frequently.

As Claude heard the latter part of the sentence, his face lit up hopefully. Saya smiled and said "I like you too" Claude's heart rate increased so much he thought it was going to jump out of his chest. He tried not to smile but failed. His crush actually accepted his feelings!
