hi! thank you for choosing this story.
i've been working on this story for quite some time now. writer's block is no small thing. i've gotten as far as the tenth chapter before deciding to restart. it was just never quite right. i almost gave up entirely.
i started this book when i was about 14 and i've kept some parts (which i'm not totally proud of but they're a part of me) but now that i'm in my early 20s and a college student, i have a decidedly different perspective. it's been a challenging season, to say the least, one tainted by grief. surprisingly, i suppose in my own way of coping, i've gotten a sudden surge of inspiration and have an insatiable urge to write. my mind is constantly swimming with ideas, which is exciting for me. i think i've finally kicked the writing slump.
this story is definitely still a work-in-progress but i think i'm finally getting near to where i want to be. it doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to be mine. bear with me guys!
- isa :)
