Yuna

*Ding dong*

As I pressed the bell of our house the door swang opened.

"Hey aren't you sleep yet? Don't you have school tomorrow?" I asked entering the house as I placed my bag on it's own place.

"Umm I was about to but why are you so late today?" Deoksu asked.
"Had to do overtime. Where is mom? Moooooom" I called my mom.

"How many time did I told you not to be late. Do you have any idea what is the time?" My mom shouted from the kitchen as I took a glance at the wall clock and it was 9.30 pm. Crap.

"What did you make for dinner? I am really hungry." I asked trying to change the topic but my mom being my mom. "Answer my question first."

"Umm it just that I had to do overtime again." I replied as I knew she will not just let it go.

"Why don't you understand Yuna you are a girl and it is not safe for you to walk alone at the night. Do you know how worried I was. And that damn phone of you. Why you even carry it when you don't think it is necessary to let me know where you are or what you are doing." She started the line with concern but ended it with a scold for which I was already prepared.

"Ok ok sorry I won't do it again. Really I promise." I crossed my index finger and middle finger together showing her and she rolled her eyes knowing very well that I won't keep the promise.  "Now will you give me something to eat?.." She glared at me. "..Please?" I add the last word with puppy eyes.

As I came out of the bathroom after a light shower I saw that dinner was already there in the table and my mom was seating on the other side of the table as her hands were crossed against her chest.

"You didn't had your dinner yet?" I asked as it was already 10 pm and I thought she already had her dinner with Deoksu.

"I had. But I have something to discuss with you. Just seat." She said pointing towards the seat with her eyes.

"Hmmm what is it?" I asked as I filled my mouth with the rice.
"So how was your interview?"
Why everybody is asking me the same question today.
"It was good. I have positive vive that I might get this job this time."

"As always. Every time you get this vive. Isn't it?" She laughed with a teasingly voice.
"Oh come on mom. I am serious this time. I am relly getting this positive vive." And she succeed in teasing me. "Ok ok I believe you." She smiled.

"So the thing is that today your aunt called me." She continued. "Hmm? Why though?" I asked. " She was talking about you. And I was thinking that she was kind of right."

I looked at her with a question look. "And what she was talking about me?"

"See.. you have already completed your study. And now I want you to get married." As I was about to say something "listen to me first" she said not giving me any chance to talk.

"I mean you don't have anybody else beside me and Deoksu. And nobody knows what might happens in the future. If I will be there with you or not. So I want you to get married and get settle while I am alive and than you can also take care of Deoksu."

My eyes widened like I didn't expected this at all.
"What are you talking about mom. I am not ready for marriage and all those at all and you know that too. And nothing will happen to you. Just let me get this job and I will handle everything. You don't need to worry."

She let out a deep breath. "I already knew you would say something like this. But look Yuna I am serious about this topic."

"But mom.." I tried to speak but she cut my words again and said " I am giving you a last chance. And if you don't get the job this time than you have to do what I want. Ok?" I didn't said anything. "Ok?" She repeated.

"Hmm ok" I said as I rolled my eyes.

So now it is really really important for me to get this job.

Taehyung

"Yes come in"
I said as Jenos entered.
"Did you send the documents to that company that I told you?" I asked.
"Yes Sir and we will get the response shortly."

"Ok. So it is about that new post. Yesterday I looked at all the forms. And this form..." I said as I put that particular peace of paper in front of him on the table.

"I don't want this girl to get this job. Just reject her already." I said as he picked up the paper and looked at it.

"But why sir?" I looked at him and raised my left eyebrow and he understood that he actually crossed his line. He hurriedly look down and continued "I...I me..mean she was actually suitable for the post. And her academic certificate also matched as per our requirements. So if we reject her I think it will be a loss on our part also." He suggested.

"I don't want to repeat myself. And I think you understood what I told you." I said as I stood up from my chair and walked towards the window.

"Sorry Sir. I will make sure she doesn't get the job."
"Hmm you can leave."
He bowed and left the room.

I looked down at the busy world outside from my office room which was situated on the 2nd floor of the building. Forget about working in my company. I don't even want to breathe the same air as you. I gritted my teeth remembering that day when I saw her in the office.

I turned around and step back towards my table and keeping all the thoughts away I tried to continue my work which I left just a little while ago.

Suddenly the door of my office room opened and someone entered. I lifted my head up to see actually who it was that got the guts to enter my room without taking permission and here he is.

I rolled my eyes and looked back at the computer screen in front of me being really annoyed on the presence of the person.

"Is it how you greet your dad?" Yes it was my dad. A person with whom I can't say I have a good relation with.

"Just say it already what is the matter." I really didn't want to talk to this person.

"Watch your mouth." Hmmm again those dramas. I didn't said anything and continued to do my work.

"I saw her yesterday.... no.. more like bump into her." He said as I looked at him well aware of who he was talking about.
"So?" I asked.

" So I just wanted to tell you that don't ever forgot what she did to you and never..."

"If you have nothing important to say can you just leave so that I can do what is important." I said without giving him the chance to complete those trashes which were about to came out of his mouth.

"Ohh ok ok.. I am really sorry my great workaholic son to disturb you..." he said in a sarcastic tone as he continued "..but I hope you are mature enough to make decisions what is right and what is wrong for you."

"As if he ever gave me the choice to make decisions" I said under my breath as I scoffed and I think he noticed that.

"Tomorrow we will have dinner together." Suddenly he said out of nowhere and stepped out of the room without even giving me the chance to say anything. He already knew that I was going to refuse.

He was also the same. Same manipulative as before. Not even a little change even after 3 years beside getting older.
