Extra Twelve: Familiarity

A/N: As a way to let all of you know about my other Fanfiction story making a comeback, I decide to make a chapter that commemorates it. Everyone, it's time for some nostalgia.

Extra Twelve: Familiarity

Chapter Synopsis: This feels all too familiar...

In a room within the Mushroom Kingdom, Tatsumi was with Tari as she wanted to show him something since, he was still adapting to their world. The assassin then spoke to the gamer girl, "So, what are you about to show me, Tari?"

The gamer girl laughed, "Since you are still adapting into this world, I say that you aren't into video games yet."

"Video games?" The assassin said as he tilted his head in confusion when he heard that.

Tari nodded with a smile, "Yeah, it is where games are played by electronically manipulating images produced by a computer program on a monitor or other display." That caught the boy's interest as he wanted to see what they are.

"What video game are we going to play?" The boy asked her.

She responded by pulling out a Disc from her cartoon pocket and showing it to the assassin, "We are going to be playing Halo Master Chief Collection!"

All of a sudden, Tatsumi suddenly got a feeling. He didn't know why, but he had a feeling that he had heard that game before, but he did not exactly know the reason why. Tari saw the expression on his face and was a bit worried, "Tatsumi?"

The boy just smiled at her. "It's nothing. Anyway, shall we play this game then?"

The gamer girl smiled at him, and with that, they began to play the game. After informing him of all of the controls, he was getting better at playing Halo. After finishing a mission from the Halo 2 section, Tatsumi wanted to play more. "Tari, shall we play more? I am getting invested with this story?"

Tari smiled at him after he said that. She could tell that he started to become interested in the game. "Sure." And with that, both Tatsumi and Tari then played more Halo.

In another alternate universe, a Forerunner Monitor with light green lightings by the name of 2722 Delta Contingent of the Forerunner Archives, suddenly had a flash of an image. She pictured that one of the Reclaimers, Tatsumi, was playing Halo with an unknown person with a robotic arm in an unknown room. She didn't know why, but she had a feeling that he and the other Reclaimers would replaying the game for nostalgia purposes.

"Must have been another thought of mine." The monitor thought as she was snapped back to the present day. She then looked at the other Reclaimers who were ready to watch the next episode of Halo Legends. "Shall we continue then?"

A/N: If you don't know who 2722 Delta Contingent was, she is an old OC of mine who is one of the main characters of Night Raid plays Halo and its sequel, Night Raid Watch Halo Legends. I hope you have enjoyed this.
