"We Just Look For Some Food, Just It." Said A Kitten And A Puppy.

One Day On A Puddle

Coming from out of nowhere, there was a skinny kitten drinking some water from a puddle on a side of a street. Unconsciously, a white skin puppy came closer to the kitten. The puppy firstly asked a question to the kitten in order to ask for permission of drinking the water at the same puddle.

"Excuse me, can I drink this water?" said the puppy.

"Why do you ask me for that? It's not mine. Just take it!" said the kitten with a curtly tone.

The puppy felt happy enough for that, and it began to drink the water with a joy on its face. Their tongue licked the water again and again. Their tails seemed wagging, the puppy's tail wagged faster than the kitten.

After a few moment, there were some human kids coming to the puddle. They were just passing that street actually, but they ran faster when they realized that they saw the kitten and the puppy in front of their sight.

The puppy suddenly felt shocked because of the kid's foot which stepped right on the puddle. The kitten responded that kid's behaviour with a flat emotion. Some of the water splashes touched the kitten's face and the puppy's also.

The kids's body and their laugh slowly disappeared while the cat and the puppy continued to drink the water. Sometimes, both of them took a break from drinking the water and raised their head just to look at their surroundings. Some vehicles passed the road with various sounds and forms. Actually, most of humans here rode bicycle instead of motorbike or even car.

Just a moment later, there were two humans walked from a distance and almost passed through the puddle. One is a woman, a mother, and the other one is a girl, a daughter. The little girl pointed toward the kitten and the puppy from the distance and said to her mother.. "Mom! Look! A little cat and a little dog! So cute!"

The mother answer her daughter's with just a simple uncared voice.. "Hmm..". She kept looking at her smartphone which was held on his right hand while her left hand grabbed the daughter's small hand. The girl's face slowly turned into a sad expression. Her hand slowly fell down, her happiness too.

As it happened, the kitten's and the puppy's face were raised during these two humans passing them. Their eyes met with the girl's eyes. The girl looked to these little creatures's eyes one by one. Once the girl and her mother passed through the puddle, the girl waved to the cat and the puppy. The kitten seemed licking its left hand continuously, and the puppy still stared to the girl with its tongue sticking out and its breath panting as what a dog naturally does.

After a while, there was a group of busker, five-young-man, passed the puddle. From a quite far distance, one of them threw his sandal right to the puddle. Coincidentally, the young man's sandal exactly headed into the puddle.

"Wuff! Wuff!!!"

"Meoww!!!"

The cat and the puppy felt surprised because of it. For a short time, their heart beat little bit faster. The young man throwing his sandal ran faster into the puddle, took his own sandal, and then just ran away from the puddle also leaving his friends behind.

Another young man (with a weak strength) kicked the puppy's body while he said.. "Uhh! Get out of my way, hey you nasty doggy!"

The puppy seemed frightened and sounded an afraid voice. The kitten suddenly ran into the puppy. The kitten's left hand touched the puppy's body to make sure its physique and touched its head to make sure its feeling while saying to itself "it's okay, I'm here. Don't be afraid!"

"What just I dreamt last night that I see this view right now? A little cat and a little dog share a water?! What a funny thing! Hhahaha.." said one of the young busker.
