Chapter 2 -- Of course I know who you are!
When I got home my mom had just got done cooking dinner. "Perfect timing, I was just about to have you come home for dinner!" My mom said. I went to the sink and washed my hands and then joined everyone else at the dinner table.
"So you do know that you have to start school here soon, right?" my mom said to me and my brother. "Yeah, I know." I said as blunt as i could. The last thing on my mind right now was school. "I was thinking maybe you could start on Wednesday. That way you've had a few days to adjust." My brother looked at me as if I were supposed to come up with a reason to start later, but my mind went blank. "Well, okay. I guess that'll work." I replied. "Great, I'll call the school tomorrow." I then finshed my dinner and went to my room. I sat on my bed and grabbed my phone, I had 5 texts 4 from friends back home and then one from an unknown number. I opened the message and it said "Hey beautiful. :) It's Cody! Meet me at the beach tomorrow at 9 and I'll show you around town!" When I read that my heart melted. I freaked out! I texted back immediatley! "I'll see ya there! :)" Then I decided to reply to all my friends from back home. I told them that we had just got to the house and started unpacking. But I didn't mention Cody. Not yet atleast, I mean I just met him! *BUZZZZ!* My phone vibrated with a message from Cody "Great! :)" I closed the text and put my phone on the charger then I fell asleep.
*Buuzzzz!* "Oh come on, It's 8 in the morning! Who could possibly be texting me?" I said out loud. I picked up my phone; It was Cody! "Oh it's Cody! I don't mind a text from him, no matter how early it is!" I said realizing I was talking to myself.
Cody: "Goodmorning Sunshine! :) I can't wait to see you today!"
Then I realized I only had an hour to get ready and be at the beach I jumped out of bed and darted to my closet, which was just full of boxes that were stuffed with clothes. I grabbed a pair of shorts and a yellow halter with my favorite flip flops. I went into the bathroom and did my hair and makeup and then *BUZZZZZZZ* there goes my phone again!
Cody: "I'm bringing my sister along, she wants to meet you. Is that alright with you?"
Me: "Omg! Alli wants to meet me?! Of course thats alright with me!"
Cody: "Haha I knew you knew who I was ;) anyways I'll see ya soon babe!"
Me: "Well of course I did! See ya! :)"
It was 8:30 I ran down stairs to the kitchen to find my mom sitting at the table eating a bagel. I ran to the pantry and out the Cinnamon Toast Crunch and poured me a bowl. Then I sat down next to my mom. "So, mom. You know how I went to check out the city yesterday?" I said, kind of nervous to tell her about Cody. "Yes?" she said suspiciously "welll, I met this guy. But you see it's not just any guy, Mom. It's Cody Simpson. And he wants to show me around town today. In about 15 minutes actually, He's really nice, and he's super cute and mom you have to let me hang out with him today!' I said, It came out pretty fast but my mom didn't fail to understand everything! "Of course you can sweetie! Just be safe and have fun! Keep your phone on so I can call you!" She replied. Oh my gosh, I wanted to scream! "Thank you, thank you, thank you! Bye mom see ya later!"
I ran out the door and hoped on my bike, I rode down to the beach and parked my bike. Before I could even look up I heard
Cody: "Hey babe! This is Alli!"
Me: "Hey guys! Nice to meet you Alli!" I replied.
Alli: "It's nice to meet you too, Cody's done nothing but talk about you since he got home yesterday. But I don't blame him, you're gorgeous! she added.
Me: "Awh, well thanks!" I said smiling.
Cody: "So where do you wanna go first?!" he asked.
Me: "Surprise me, you know LA better than I do!"
Cody: "Alright, follow me!"
Cody grabbed my hand and walked me to his limo. I swear, this has to be a dream! He opened the door and Alli got in the car, and I followed after her. Then, Cody after me.
