Chapter 13 - Ferries Wheel

Chapter 13

I was excited to know what Harry had planned for me. I was nervous and happy and confused at the same time. My confusion came from Liam. After I went for the post he walked over and we chatted. He was cheery and happy. I knew I should just forget about him but it was so hard. He told me Danielle and him got back together. They both made a mistake and they knew they needed each other. Liam told me to forget about "our issue". More like me being madly in love with him and him not caring. Him kissing me still haunted me. I wonder if Danielle knew.

Harry said he'd be over soon. I had just gotten back from work and Alli had come over. She let me borrow her leather jacket and combat boots. Wen I asked Harry what to wear he told me I didn't to wear anything. I told him I would defiantly be dressed. I had on skinny jeans, a gray and black striped shirt, and Alli's jacket. I curled my hair slightly, making it more natural. I didn't know where Harry stood with make up so I wore a little.

"I can't wait Lucy, your first real date! And not with anyone your mum set you up with!" Somehow I felt like Alli was more excited than I was. I heard the door bell and Alli ran to get it. This was playing out like my first fake date with Harry. I ran down too grabbing my small sparkly purse and answering the door. Harry was wearing his usual skinny jeans and an sweater. He looked adorable and I couldn't get over how beautiful he was, even with any flaws.

"Hi," he said. I smiled.

"Hi."

"Now that the introductions are done!! Go!" Alli said pushing me towards Harry. He caught me in his arms and looked down on me, him being 5 inches taller. He smiled cheekily and I grinned embarrassed. It was like we were first meeting. I mean I've laid my head on his shoulder but I couldn't be in his arms.

"Ready?" he asked. I shook my head and backed away a little. "This is suppose to be special so act like you're happy!" I laughed and Harry lead me to his car. I stood next to the door to the car and Harry stared at me.

"What?" I asked. He raised his eyebrows and I looked at him confused. "Oh my door! Oh... Yeah. All yours." He grinned and opened it for me. "You're ridiculous."

"You're impossible," he replied. I got in the car and Harry shut the door with a very satisfied look on his face. I saw him stop and turn around. I looked in the direction he was looking. Liam was standing outside walking to him. I sunk down in my seat. Oh great. I heard mumbling and saw them both smiling. Maybe nothing was wrong. Then Liam walked over to my side of the car. My heart raced. He opened the door and peered at me.

"Hey Lucy," he said.

"Hi." I grinned fakely at him.

"Just have to get my sunglasses, left them in here." He stepped closer and reached over me. His body was close to men and his arm brushed my chest. My heart stopped and he pulled back. He grinned and waved shutting the door. I blinked and tried to take in what happened.

Harry opened the door and sat down acting fine. He smiled sweetly at me. The kind of smile that makes you forget all the troubles in the world. I looked down fast and played with my ring, moving up and down. He started the car and backed out.

"Aren't you curious about where we're going?" he asked me.

"It's only eating my insides away Harry!" I joked to Harry. He laughed and we drove for a long time. I fell asleep against the side of the car. Harry shook me awake and his touch sent lightning through my body. I looked out the window to see the beach and amusement park. The ferries wheel was over looking the ocean and it was a beautiful sight.

"Oh Harry." He smiled and got out. He opened my door and I stepped out. "I love the beach. How'd you know?" He grinned like he knew something I didn't and I rolled my eyes. We started walking towards the sand and I saw a table set up. He of course helped me into my seat. A simple gesture that made my heart melt.

Harry brought out a picnic basket and took out turkey sandwichs, also my favorite. I was quite curious on how he knew so much about me. He was adorable and served me food. We ate and talked. He could tell I was nervous so he tried to make me laugh, his dimples appearing every time I smiled for him.

After we ateI took my shoes off and the sand felt wonderful in my between my toes. My hands felt sweating and I had to wipe them on my pants constantly. I was so nervous. "Want to go for a walk?" he asked me. My whole body chilled with his voice and I shivered. "Are you cold, babe?" he asked.

"Oh no." He took his jacket off he had brought with him and wrapped it around myshoulders. It shallowed me since it was quite large. "Harry I'm fine. You're going to get cold." I tried taking it off and he shook his head.

"No Lucy it's fine. I'm trying to make this a great date and you must accept my jacket. It's done in all the movies." I laughed at that. He wanted this to be perfect and that was adorable.

He walked towards the water and I followed him. Our hands touched as we walked, past each other back and forth. My face burned and my heart wanted to explore. I wanted Harry to grab my hand and entwine his fingers in mine. Finally he took it. First slowing putting his in mine then lining his fingers up with mine. His hands were large compared to mine and it made me feel protected.

"Hi," he said stepping towards me now with both of his hands in mine.

"Hi Mr.Styles," I said back to him. He pulled my body into his.

"Is this a good date so far?" he whispered. I nodded my head and bit my lip. I wanted him to kiss me so bad. I stared at his lips when he talked. "Want to go on the ferries wheel?'

"Oh can we? I love ferries wheels! I hate roller coasters but ferries wheels are fun." He grinned. "How do you know what I like Styles?"

"I did my research," he responded. I leaned in closer to him and stood on my tippy toes. My face was inches away from his and he grinned a foolish smile. "Are you going to kiss me Lucy?"

I smiled and fluttered my eye lashes. He was touching my lips with his but pulled away quickly. He left me standing there and walked over to the board walk. I giggled a bit and chased after him my legs only taking me so far.
