Author's Note *Please Read*: I have spent the better part of five years working on this story. It has gone through many changes in that time and currently this is the road I want it to go down, the one I feel I can do the most with as a writer. I have not let a soul read this since I began writing it back in grade 8 so I am very nervous about putting it online but I believe that this will help me grow as an author and understand what people would like to see from the story that I love so much. Up until the end of Chapter 3 this will be my third draft of the story, after that it will be my second up until the end of the story (I am a firm believer in hand writing the first draft). Within the story there are chapters that will tell of stories that happened much earlier in the history of the world I have created, they serve as information to help you, as a reader, better understand my world. The title of this, for now, is only a working title and I would love suggestions as to what some of you readers think it should be called. I love this story with my heart and soul and hope it will transport you into a fantastic land filled with characters that I feel I know the very inner workings of. Message me with any suggestions and leave comments. Thank you!

Nathan

Book One:

Prologue

As far back as anyone can remember the race of Humans have occupied the space that they were given on the continent of Hesëyr. In the first 20 years of the human’s occupation they created two kingdoms which separated the two sides that did not get along and had different ideas about how they should be lead and ruled, thus the two kingdoms of Centa-Mas and Voti were created. The people of Centa-Mas occupied the top half of the continent while the people of Voti occupied the bottom and slightly smaller area of Hesëyr. After the creation of the two different kingdoms the two peoples stopped communicating. On the rare occasion in which a man and woman from these two different kingdoms fell in love they’re children would be cursed to be bald so that the inhabitants of the kingdoms would know the taboo their parent had committed.

After a few years of not being lead by any one person the people of Voti decided they needed a king to govern and so King Agment was crowned the first king of Voti. The capital city was from then on named after the king who was ruling in that period of time. So, the capital at this point in time was called Agmentia.

As for the people of Center-Mas they had chosen a king long before the Voti people. Their king was a cruel leader that would not tolerate anyone disobeying him, anyone that did was put to death immediately. Their king’s name was Korovolo. He swore that the only one to rule will be from the line for Korovolo and that the child would bare the same name.

The soldiers of King Korovolo had searched the land they occupied far and wide and the people moved all across the kingdom. As the soldier searched they discovered much iron ore in the caves of the kingdom and soon the people started to create weaponry.

Finally, King Agment sent out 400 men to search their country. For two years the group of soldiers of Voti found nothing of significance. Then one night the men led by High Commander to the King Crator came upon a ring of mountains which they decided to go over instead of around, which they would soon regret.

In the very center of the mountains was the ancient city of Keblar in which slept for almost 3 millennia slept a race of brutish creatures called the Valtori. When High Commander Crator and his men finally got over the mountains the Valtori awoke smelling prey coming towards them.

Crator and his men searched the apparently abandoned city but found nothing they considered important and at the end of that day they set up camp in the city. While they did this a band of the orange skinned, tusked brutes stalked them and observed them waiting for the opportunity to arise that they could purge their city and kingdom of these oddities.
