Tom came back in my apartment like an hour later. I was ready by that time.

We walked around the city, we talked a little. I'm not gonna lie.I don't want him to leave. -It's so sad that you have to leave -I know darling. I don't want to leave you,but I have to -Yes,I know. -But I will text you every day and face time you all the time" he tried to cheer me up, but that wasn't really working. -"Of course you will"- I smiled at him.
Since we both were tired from the day, we just decided to order something and watch movies at home. So we got back to my apartment. -"Tom can you order us food while I get changed?" -"Sure thing darling" Tom responded. I changed into an oversized T-Shirt and shorts and gave Tom his sweats and T-Shirt to wear. In 20minutes we were sitting in front of the TV, on my couch. We were eating our pizza and noodles and we were watching "Spider-Man:Far From Home" -You are pretty good Peter Parker" I say without taking my eyes off the TV. -"I actually am" He said confidently and I punched his arm playfully. -"Ouch that did hurt" Tom said -"I barely touched you" -"No, you almost knocked me out, I'm gonna have to tickle you"He grins devilishly -"NoNo No Tom. You know I hate that" -"I know babe. That's why I'm doing it" ✨babe✨ gave me butterflies, which I try to ignore.
We finished eating our food and continued watching TV. Soon enough I fell asleep, my head on Tom's shoulder. He didn't wake me up, he carried me to the bedroom and he laid down next to me. I started to wake up. -"Hey" I said -"Hi" it was dark but I could see that he was smiling, "I woke you up?" He said little worried. -"No. don't worry about it. Thank you for carrying me here btw" -"Don't mention it darling" he smiled and kissed my forehead lovingly. Again,Butterflies. -"What time are you leaving tomorrow?" -"9am" I looked at the time, it was 11pm. -"You should get some sleep" I told him -"Yeah, probably " he said and grabbed my waste and pulled me closer to him. I was shocked, but I quickly relaxed. I laid my head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat, one hand on his bicep another one in his hair. Our legs tangling together, his hands on my waste and back. -"Sweet dreams babe" I told him -"Sweet dreams darling" kissing my head. I couldn't sleep for a while, I was thinking about Tom. I was falling for him and I couldn't deny. I was so worried I didn't want to catch feelings for him, I mean he's my best friend, that's wrong. Plus I was worried about his opinion, what if he had feelings for someone else, that would break my heart. He was also leaving tomorrow for a long time, what if he forgot about me and we stopped being friends again. I couldn't stop overthinking, I decided to get up and drink some warm milk. I slowly got up, trying not to wake Tom up. I got into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of milk. I took a bar of chocolate from the dashboard and slowly opened it, while thinking about Tom again. I took a small bite and put it back, I sat on the chair by the table, this time with a glass of wine. I took a sip and I felt that I was getting even more sad and tears formed in my eyes. At this point I started crying. -"Darling?!" I heard Tom's voice, I tried to wipe my tears off, but it was too late. -"Why are you awake Tom?" I asked him -"I could ask you the same question" he responded looking at my direction, he had worried expression. -"I just couldn't sleep" -"Willow talk to me please" he said, this time, close to me, his fingers stroking my cheek. I just looked at him "I can't tell you,I'm embarrassed now" -"Willow, you can tell me anything,we're best friends" I said, searching for my eyes. Yes,best friends. Of course I couldn't tell him that I had feelings for him. -"It's just... I'm gonna miss you, I don't want the same thing to happen to us, I'm just worried.Sorry. u feel so stupid now" -"Babe... it won't happen okay?! I won't make the same mistake, now calm down and let's go back to sleep" he took me in his arms again and carried me to the bedroom. This time I was fully laying on top of him. -"I love you sunshine" he said, kissing my neck. Of course he didn't mean it like that. I didn't respond, I slowly fell asleep in his arms...
