Everything was so peaceful when he was having lunch with his college friends - just laughing and teasing each other or talking about their medical Curriculum. The café was near the centre of the city, it was a busy day. So, the café was full of people and on the streets, people were rushing to go back to their homes after a long day of work. Children were out of school led by their parents to their home or going out to start at the beginning of the weekend.
Everything was normal, he hoped that this kind of peace won't be disturbed by villains or seeing his father's face.
Oh, Enji - how much he hated him. He had never been a father to him and he himself had stopped seeing him as a father figure or seeking his approval in everything he does.
"He is trying to change -" his sister had told him, but he just scoffed.
Changing? After what he had done to their mother and T-
Of course, he didn't believe that his father was changing. Maybe he was doing it for his public image - but he didn't care.
Ugh, thinking about his supposed father always brought him a headache.
Natsu was snapped out from his miserable thoughts by a loud explosion that shook the ground as if there was an earthquake - that explosion was followed by another one.
Thank you very much, that's what he needed for his relaxing day - a villain attack.
He also hoped that his father wouldn't be around.
People were getting out of the café, everyone was panicking - the same scenario that happens every time there is a villain nearby.
Why should there be villains? With no villains, there will be no heroes -
And without heroes, he would still have his brother by his side.
Natsu really hated heroes and villains.
He was pushed out of the café as many people made their way to the street and isn't that great?
He had lost his friends too in the middle of chaos.
"I saw Endeavour and his son arrive-" he heard someone saying and he could feel his heart thundering in his ears because of the safety of his brother - he doesn't care about Endeavour, he could die and Natsu wouldn't care. Maybe they would be free-
But free after what?
After his mother was sent to the hospital and his brother was burned alive?
Natsu hoped that Shoto would be alright, he wished that he could go and help him, but of course, he couldn't because of Endeavour.
"You are a failure, Natsu, like Fuyumi. Only Touya would make me proud," Endeavour had told him after he had trained Touya - it is just that Natsu had wanted his father to be proud of him and he wanted to be like his brother.
So, Natsu wasn't trained like Touya or Shoto (-if you could call this training.)
Another explosion rattled the ground - people were running in different ways, trying to escape the scene. Natsu was shoved aside by someone and he didn't have time to scowl or say anything to the person who shoved him.
Everything was pure chaos.
Natsu could see in the distance the villain Toga? - he didn't much care about the villains' names except Dabi (of course for the damage he had caused to his father -
"Served the bastard right- " Fuyumi had scowled at him when he said that.
So, yeah, he saw Toga in the distance killing one of the heroes and then-
