A Day Of Romance: The Missing Pieces of 5x07

A Romantic Surprise

Maya, who had just returned home from a long 24-hour shift at work, expected a day of cleaning the apartment she shared with her beautiful Italian wife, Carina as well as continuing the mourning of her fellow firefighter, and friend, Dean Miller, thinking the other woman was at work. However, much to her surprise, as she entered the apartment, she spotted flower petals on the floor and candles all lit up on the table. The blonde looked around confused, worried she was in the wrong apartment as she placed her backpack on the chair.

"Um... Carina," The lieutenant said softly throwing her keys on the table. "Am I in the right apartment?" 

She walked into the living room spotting red and white curtains, deep in thought until her wife's Italian accent was heard. "Sorpresa."

Turning around, her eyes widened discovering Carina in all her glory, wearing black lingerie and a maroon robe. She looked incredibly sexy, as she made her way to the blonde, two wine glasses in each hand. "You," Maya exclaimed as a slight chuckle escaped her lips, "are supposed to be at work."

"I am not working for the next two days," the Italian responded before handing her wife a glass of wine causing the blonde to gasp at the statement. 

"Oh, w-why? Because we are making homemade porn?" She joked, taking a sip of her wine. Carina looked at Maya in disbelief at her comment.

"No. It is romance, not porn." Carina answered with a soft smile before connecting her lips with Maya's, giving her a welcome home kiss.

The firefighter turned around as the brunette took a sip of her wine. "But, there is a lot of red."

"We're making a baby." The OBGYN said with a flirty smile. "And I want all the romance and all the sex that comes with making a baby."

"Even though we are picking a sperm donor from a very unsexy sperm bank?" The other woman questioned, as she watched Carina taking another sip of wine.

"Exactly," She began to say as she placed her glass on the coffee table. Maya took another sip of her wine until the Italian grabbed her glass of wine, placing it next to hers. "Life has been so hard, and so difficult." 

Pausing just for a bit from finishing her statement, the OBGYN unzipped her wife's jacket, with Maya smiling as she stood there watching Carina, who lowered the left side of said jacket and slid it down her arm. "And so much pain," she continued, walking behind the blonde before taking off the rest of her jacket. "And so much grief. I just think we need a little  something different." After a while, she finally finished, as she dropped the piece of clothing on the chair nearby while wrapping her arms around Maya. "And you need a massage."

Luckily, the blonde agreed and chuckled before lifting her arm up to grab onto Carina's arm. "Ugh, I really do."

"Prego," The Italian responded pointing towards the sofa. Maya looked at her wife, surprised as the other woman nodded. Deciding to listen, she walked towards the sofa and took a seat with Carina following, who sat down on the coffee table.

"And I will be your very sexy massage therapist today," She said as she lowered her robe from her left shoulder before pulling up the blonde's leg to remove her shoes.

Maya chuckled lightly. "Oh, oh, oh, the surprises keep coming."

Carina glanced at her wife, biting her lip and smiling as the blonde said that. Maya could not believe the Italian did this for her. The firefighter was blessed to have a wife like the OBGYN in her life. 

"Carina, this is," Maya whispered, leaning forward and placing her hand on her wife's thighs.

"What?" The Italian whispered back flirtatiously, meeting Maya in the middle.
