Y: So we are going to start with the new video.

Video showed with the title 'Introduction'

I disliked the entrance ceremony and imagined that many first-year students probably felt the same. The principal and the students exchanged excessive words of gratitude, there was far too much time spent standing in lines, and, with so many irritating things to deal with, it all felt like a huge pain in the butt. But those weren’t my only complaints.

Ichika: Yep no one likes the entrance ceremony.

Yui: It is super boring and nothing happens at all.

Oreki: listening to it makes me want sleep all the time.

Hiratsuka-sensei: Even as a teacher it was super boring to hear.

The entrance ceremonies for elementary school, junior high, and high school all mean the same thing: the start of another major trial for children. In order for students to enjoy their time at school, they must make friends, and there are only a few key days after the entrance ceremony to properly do that. Failure to do so signals the beginning of a rather tragic three years.

Sakuta: Well not really, I can survive three years without friends.

Hachiman: Me too, I won't be bothered at all by it.

Nino: But being alone for three years would suck pretty much.

Yui: Yeah I agree with you Nino-san.

Oreki: Well some people won't mind being alone and some always wants to make friends.

The others seem to agree.

As someone who dislikes trouble, I decided I’d like to establish proper
relationships. Unfamiliar with the notion, I’d spent the day before in
preparation, running through different scenarios.

Oreki, Hachiman and Sakuta: someone who dislikes trouble, join the club.

Yukino: So Ayanokoji-kun dislikes trouble.

Izumi: Well he didn't want to give his seat to the old lady as he didn't want to get involved.

Hori: Yeah, he seems like carefree type.

For instance, should I burst into the classroom and actively start talking
to people? Should I secretly pass around a slip of paper with my email
address, so as to better befriend someone?

Mai: That would be awkward and cringy.

Hachiman: So he is the loner type.

Itsuki: It seems like it.

Someone like me needed to practice, because this environment was so different from what I’d experienced thus far. I was completely isolated. I had ventured alone into a battlefield, and it was do or die.

Everyone was confused with his thoughts.

Kaguya: What does he mean by this environment in different from what he experienced.

Ruka: Maybe he was homeschooled.

Fuutarou: That is a possibility.

Miyuki: Well that explains his last two thoughts.

Yukino: Yeah, it makes sense that doesn't have experience in making friends if he was homeschooled.

All the others also agree with the idea of him being homeschooled.
