I quickly glanced at the clock on the wall.
12:32 pm
Ugh. There is still 28 minutes left of praising the lord. My mom and dad are very religious so I am required to attend church every Sunday, I mean there isn't anything wrong with it, but I just want extra sleep like every other teenager.
"I am going to go out for a minute mom." I leaned over and told my mom. She nodded with permission.
I spinned the wheelchair wheels and pushed myself out of the room. I kept going till I reached the door. I pressed the handicapped button and the door flew open, I quickly rolled out and parked myself outside. The wind blew through my hair. I want nothing more than to stand up and walk around right now, but sadly I will never know that feeling.
I erased the sad thoughts and planted a smile on my face. Gotta stay positive. Thinking I had gotten enough air I went to head back inside. I was about to press the handicapped button when the door opened.
Zach O'Brien. He goes to my school, I've seen him around too but I have heard more. Which doesn't surprise me, he is quarterback and all.
"Hey Violet." He said with a smile.
I honestly wasn't surprised he knew my name, I mean, I am handicapped Violet, most people know my name, just we don't talk. Which I am more than happy about.
I nod my head in acknowledgement, and wheel myself through the door. I really didn't want to talk to him and I don't see why he would want to talk to me. I heard the door close behind me but I didn't bother to look.

It was finally 1:00 pm and I am now free to go home and nap. My dad lifted me up out of my wheelchair and set me into the car, putting my wheelchair on the back of our car. I thank him as we start to drive home.
"Can I take a nap once we get home dad?" I asked him.
He looked at me through the cars rear view mirror, "Of course, dear.".
I set my head against the glass till we arrived at home McMarthy.
