"Kyoukooooo" I whine.
"What is it?" they sigh clearly done with me annoying them for the day. Our eyes meet fro a second and I blush and avoid their exhausted gaze.
"Can we get ice cream?!" I yell louder than i intended to, very enthusiastically.
They sigh "Sure..." they say pushing themself off of the chair they were just sitting on.
"Yayyyyyy!" I shriek in joy jumping up and walking next to them, intwining my fingers with theirs. I can see a small smile appear on their face and despite wanting to bother them about it but I decide to just savor the moment rather than ruining it for both of us.
"What flavor are you going to get" I question tilting my head smiling slightly as I speak.
"Probably, hmmm, strawberry? Maybe cookie dough...." They ponder letting their gaze drift up to the sky, as we just exited the house.
I laugh slightly at their indecisiveness. "I'm gonna get whatever you get" I say raising my hands up forcing theirs up. They yelp in surprise.
"Hey!" They squawked at the sudden movement.
"Sorryyyyy" I apologized making exaggeratedly long strides. They sigh in slight weariness and jokingly roll their eyes. "Are we almost there?" I ask getting impatient.
"Almost" They say beaming moderately. We walk the rest of the way in silence, enjoying the sweet little moment that we are having. My eyes seem to sparkle in joy and admiration as soon as our gazes meet. All of my worries seem to lift and float away in the breeze as soon as I'm next to them. It's the best feeling. My heart always skips a few beats and starts pounding. I become so very giddy and all I can think about is them. They're all that could ever matter in that very moment.
"We're here" They say gently shaking me a little, getting me to snap out of my little thing of spacing out. "Are you okay" They ask concern clouding their eyes.
"Yeah, I was just thinking I say" Giving them an ear-to-ear grin. They nod and walk forward into the store.
"Hello" they greet the cashier. "Can we have two cookie dough ice creams?" they ask getting their wallet out and holding out the money.
"Of course!"
We have to wait for quite a few minutes as they get the ice cream ready. In those minutes we hold hands and I keep moving back and forth, swinging our arms with me.
"Two cookie dough ice creams are ready" Calls the cashier. We walk over grab them and thank the cashier. We make our way out of the shop and sit down at one of the benches near-by.
The ice cream melts in my mouth as soon as it touches my tongue. The flavor quickly spreads.
Time skip to when they finish because I'm bad at writing
"Are you done?" They ask me getting ready to take my ice cream container to throw it away.
"Yup" I beam closing my eyes and smiling widely. When I open my eyes I see her staring at me slightly. I tilt my head slightly and get taken back by them kissing me. They pull back for a second.
"Are you okay with me kissing you?' They ask making sure I'm fully okay with it. I nod my head and pull their head back and we continue.
They pull back again. "I can taste the ice cream still" they giggle before going back.
