"Red looks good on you." Reese spoke through the phone, "thank you." I said while throwing the grey sweatshirt back in my dresser.

I put the red sweatshirt on and put on some jeans. "So y'all are going on a date?" Bria asked eventhough I already told them we were going on a date.

"Yes." I said, "where?" She asked me.

"I don't know yet but he told me that I don't have to wear anything fancy." I spoke.

"I think it's good that you guys want to start a more healthier relationship." Nau'jour said through the phone.

"Mhm." Bria hummed, I ignored her like always, "why did it just get awkward in here?" Liyah asked with her face close to the camera.

We all laughed.

I grabbed my phone to go and get my red Jordan's and spray some perfume on me.

I took my apartment keys and refilled Melo's bowl, he was at my dad's house mostly this week because my dad always misses him.

"Which snack?" I asked and he stood infront of the right big bag so I filled some in his other bowl with his cup and then I refilled his water.

"Be good." I stroked his head. He never does anything bad but one time he pooped right next to where he's supposed to poop but that's it and it only happened once.

"I love you." I whispered to him.

I stroked Melo's head for the last time and turned the lights off leaving some on for Melo.

I closed the door behind me and stopped my movement when I saw my neighbour who I hadn't seen in a while now.

When we did see eachother we just said hey but this time he didn't say anything and just looked me up and down.

"Where you off to?" He asked me, ".. just a date." I answered and he slowly nodded his head.

"Aight have fun." He said before walking in his apartment with three Walmart bags in his hands.

I used the lift to go down and then I left the building. I saw him standing infront of his passenger door awkwardly.

I laughed because he did this when he picked me up from Nau'jour's and Von's place.

"Hey." I smiled at him, "hey. How yo day been?" He asked me when I stopped infront of him.

We had only seen eachother this morning when we woke up but then he left to drop off Jameehl and we said that we would see eachother at 7pm.

"I missed you." I said honestly, "I missed you too." He spoke.

He opened his arms and I hugged him, "where are we going?" I asked him, "I made a reservation for us at a restaurant and after that I wanna do sumn with you." He spoke.

I nodded excitedly and he opened the door for me and then closed it when I got in.

He got in too and then started the car.
