New(ish) To The Squad - Ayden Mekus Love Story

I'm currently lying on my bed in my bedroom on face time too, my best friend who is better known as Piper Rockelle.

The Call:

Piper - When are you coming back to L.A? I miss you so much 

You - I miss you too Piper and I'm not sure when I'll be coming back but, I know the first thing I do will be to go through terms and conditions with LEV.

Piper - Did you hear that Lev

Lev- I did indeed and do not worry Ella, I will gladly listen to your terms and conditions. 

You - Good 

"Ella, can you come down here please, I need to talk to you!" I heard my mom shout, from downstairs. "Ok, coming!" I said. 

You - Sorry Piper, I have to go. I'll talk to you later

Piper - Ok bye

Lev - Bye Ella

You - Bye 

I hung up, left my phone on my bed and went downstairs to see what my mom wanted. "Hey mom, what's up?" I asked as I, walked into the living room. "Hey, I have some big news! So, my job promoted me and we have to move to California!" Mom explained. "Wait, does that mean I'll see Piper again?" I asked, a smile starting to form on my face. "It does. You'll see her everyday!" "Everyday?" "Yes, we're next door to her!" Mom said. I was smiling so hard, I'm surprised my mouth hasn't fallen off yet. I went over to my mom and gave her the biggest hug ever. "Go, go on and call Hunter to plan a way to surprise her!" Mom said. I ran up to my room and grabbed my phone. I immediately, went onto Hunter's contact and called him. 

The Call:

You - Hey Hunter

Hunter - Hey Ella, what's up

You - Well, I have big news

Hunter - Go on, tell me

You - I'm moving back to California

Hunter - No way, really

You - Yeah really and the reason I called is because I want to plan a way to surprise Piper

Hunter - Ok, you could text me when your there and then me and Lev would come out, I'd stay outside to film the reaction and then Lev go back in and tell Piper someone is at the door for her then, boom

You - That sounds really cool, I'll see you tomorrow

Hunter - Tomorrow?!

You - Yeah, I only found out today but yeah

Hunter - Ok, I'll see you soon bye

You - Bye

Hunter hung up and then, I started to get packing. I put some clothes in a suitcase, in case the moving van isn't there on time, I also put my toiletries, electronics and other essentials in there and then, my mom came up and handed me a few boxes. I put the rest of my clothes into the boxes and everything else that is in my room other than, my bed. Also, I left some clothes out for tomorrow. 

After I finished packing, I took all the boxes downstairs and put them by the front door ready for when the moving van comes later on. I walked into the living room where mom was and sat down. "Hey, do you fancy pizza for dinner as our last proper meal in this house?" Mom asked. "You know it mom!" I said. So, mom got onto the phone and ordered pizza. 

When the pizza arrived, mom thanked the person, payed him and bought the pizza into the living room where I was. "Want to watch a movie?" Mom asked. "Yeah sure! How about, Inside Out?" I suggested. "Yes!" Mom said. So, she grabbed the remote, opened Disney+ and played Inside Out. We both sat together, eating pizza and watching the best Disney movie ever whilst, savouring the last moments of being in this house.

Once we finished eating, I took the pizza boxes outside into recycling whilst mom, finished getting the rest of the boxes from upstairs. After about 10 minutes, there was a knock at the door. Mom went to answer it and it was the moving truck. Mom, the driver and I, all took boxes outside and into the back of the van. Once all the boxes were in there we started to put stuff like the couch and lamps that kind off stuff in.

When all that was over, I looked at my phone and saw that it was 8:00PM. "Hey mom, I'm going to head for a shower and then get to bed!" I said. "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. We have to be at the airport for 11 in the morning which means leaving here at 9." "Ok, goodnight mom love you!" I said, heading up the stairs. "Love you too sweet!" Mom said. I got into my bedroom and then opened the door to my bathroom. I got in and done what I needed to do.

Once I was finished, I picked out some night clothes and got into bed. I put my phone on charge and went to sleep. I can't wait to go back to California and see Piper!
